A review from Dolce Vita's first customer

I changed salons 1 year ago to try out Dolce Vita and I'm glad I did! First, this salon is beautiful. It has an airy atmosphere, chic color tones and the modern design by Dager Construction exudes a calming energy. You'll walk in feeling "ahhhh". The staff is always friendly and professional. Sarah greats me with a refreshment and a smile each time I walk in the door (love her). My stylist is Deana Dager (also the owner) and since going to her my hair has never felt and looked this healthy before. The amount of compliments I receive speaks volumes. Dolce Vita leaves you with a lasting impression of feeling drop dead gorgious!

• Pros: Talented stylists, best atmosphere, friendliest staff
• Cons: No complaints!

Mary is great!

First of all, this salon is sleek, clean, and inviting. It's not one of those that are too stuffy or snotty. The staff is friendly, and professional. Mary has been cutting my hair for close to 7 years now and is always able to give me the perfect cut to fit my lifestyle. I used to get crazy rock star hair, then a sassy yet professional cut, now an easy to care for, yet classy and hip mom do. She is great at making sure the cut and style will be something you are able to duplicate at home. She is extremely warm and easy to talk to. I love spending my Friday afternoons at Dolce Vita!

Amazing salon!

From the first time I went to Deana Dager (stylist and salon owner), she was fantastic! She is able to get me in for an appointment whenever I need a cut, and does an amazing job! I have recommended her to several of my friends, who have all loved her as well. Plus, the staff is always nice and helpful, and the salon itself is very nice, clean and the decor is awesome -- I highly recommend this salon (and Deana).

I would Recommend to Everyone

Everything is great to the enviornment, the people, the decor, and the greatest stylist alive. I have been working with Sarah O for awhile and I absolutly Love her. I have recommended her to all my friends and now our whole group goes to her.

She color specializes and i have never had better highlights. She lets you know what she thinks and would never cut your hair a way she thought wouldn't look good. That way if you scared to go short but you wanna do it and she knows it wont work, she wont do it. I love that, I know when i walk outta there i am going to look great with a great hair cut and I am not going out of there looking bad b/c i thought it might look good on me. She knows her stuff.

I can't say anything bad about this place. Everyone should go and get there hair cut from Sarah O. Shes awesome!

Fantastic owner

I am not a customer of the Dolce Vita Salon. I'm a private contractor that has been hired to do some web work for this company. In my profession I interact with countless businesses, some good, some bad. The Dolce Vita Salon is one of the good ones. The owner is extremely professional and motivated to have the best salon possible. When a owner has this kind of work ethic it usually trickles down throughout the entire business. And judging by the other reviews that I have read here, it looks like this is the case with the Docle Vita Hair Salon.

• Pros: Owner is a real professional
• Cons: This salon isn't getting the attention it deserves

Orlando's best kept secret

I seriously have the absolute WORST hair to cut. It's thick and has tons of texture, an absolute nightmare! I can't even control it on a good day. I had already come to terms with having a permanent bad hair day, until now.

I was really nervous until I met Julian. He was warm and friendly, he listened and understood. He is talented and modest. I can't say enough about his personality, and his work is amazing! Julian took a hot mess and made it into pure hotness! Not only did he cut my hair perfectly for my texture but he took the time to show me how to style it both curly and straight. I am so glad to have met Julian, he rocks!!!!!!!

• Pros: Everyone is incredibly friendly
• Cons: mapquest directions are a bit off, so allow extra time.

Ask for Peter!

I am a 29 year old man with really thick hair that, before Peter, was completely unmanageable. I tried other locals. Apparently, they preferred varying mushroom designs over hair styles. Peter does some serious magic with my hair, and brings out the best. Always looking Labor Force on the way in, Hollywood on the way out. Another great thing the cuts look great with or without "product". He just know's exactly what he's doing, and he's cool to talk to while he's doing it.

I've been going to Peter for a long time. He also cuts my girlfriend's hair and does color and cut for my sister who is very particular about her hair. A STORY:

A while back my sister had gone to get her hair highlighted and cut at this place in Tampa where she went to school last year. The place used the wrong dye and had chunks of her hair dried deep red. It really looked awful, they also had randomly snipped parts of her hair unevenly and in some places less than a third of the length of her hair, a total nightmare. She was DEVASTATED. I eventually convinced her to trust Peter to fix it. Peter met us around 6:30p.m. and worked his butt off and stayed till after 11p.m. and TOTALLY corrected the disastrous mess that this lady had made. My sister still lives in Tampa and she makes the drive every time she needs a trim or color. You couldn't pay her to go to anyone else.

Botom line, Peter is an absolute expert, and without being arrogant or over-dramatic. Plus the girls all like his accent. Try him, you'll be very glad you did.

• Pros: New, Clean, Comfortable, Proffesional environment. Lot's of Talent.
• Cons: It's off a one way-street so heads up, Mapquesters!

Top Orlando Salon

I recently went to Dolce Vita Salon and have to say I was Very Impressed! Great location, easy parking, relaxing atmosphere, accomodating staff and I met a great stylist. I got highlights with a cut and blowdry. My stylist, Gabrielle, did a great job. She taught me about my hair and recommended some natural hair care products called Phyto. I really like them because besides being natural they work really good and dont weigh my hair down. I feel very confident telling other people to go there. They have a great referral program too!! I even received a message from someone to see how my hair was about a week after my appointment. In this ecomony, it really felt good to know that someone cared after they got paid. I high recommend gabrielle and Dolce Vita.

Marcus the best colorist and stylist in Orlando.

For just moving to Orlando it was so grate for me to find a stylist like Marcus of Dolce Vita Salon. I heard about him by a co-worker who know that i was looking for someone that is good color and cut short hair. The Salon was very upscale and every one was friendly but Marcus was the icing on the cake he made me feel at home and at ease. He did a great job with my color and gave me a sassy haircut . My hair has never look this good. Now he is my stylist and i will be sending him more people!!!!! He is the color god!!!!

Great New Downtown Orlando Salon!

I was looking for a new salon and found Dolce Vita on this site. From the moment I walked in it was a great experience. The receptionist was very sweet and accomodating and it smelled so good in the salon. Not like other places that smell like chemicals. I was introduced to my stylist, Carrie, and she was great!! My color is perfect and i absolutely love the cut. She took her time and that is really important. I actually left with products i know how to use and i could not be happier. I would definately highly recommend the salon as well as my new stylist.
