Love The Bento Boxes and Sushi!
by SoaringKC at Citysearch
I love this restaurant! I eat there at least once a week (mostly during lunch). Their lunch Bento boxes are a great price ($9.50 for two entrees, rice, soup, salad and a piece of crab rangoon!) and I love their sushi.
I would have given them five stars, but I have had my order mixed up maybe once or twice. However, I don't let that deter me from this restaurant. I'll keep going back because it's a great deal, with great food, and a great atmosphere!
Delicious japanese food and sushi!
by JKreaf at Citysearch
Izziban has some really tasty Japanese food and their sushi is just amazing. Their bento box specials are so delicious and beautifully presented. The sushi is out of this world as well. They have many fancy rolls and traditional shashimi platters as well. My favorite is the cowboy roll (beef and avocado with spicy crab, conch, and scallops on top) and seven samurai roll (seven types of fish on top of a spicy tuna roll). The servers are very nice and great with recommendations. The only downside is the location is prone to traffic because of the construction going on in the roadside. Other than that, this place is my new favorite!
- Pros: everything, beautiful interior dec!
- Cons: construction being done in the area causes some traffic
Great food, mediocre service
by psych0cat at Citysearch
I went the second week of November 2009 and really enjoyed the sushi here, but our waitress never came back to our table once after dropping off the food. The table next to us was drinking and obviously spending alot of cash, so they seemed to be getting all of our her attention. Also, the men's room floor was so sticky that my shoes made noise all the way back to my table. I will likely return, as the food was fantastic, but I expect more service and cleaner restrooms. Wednesdays appear to be the night to go, as they have lot of specials going on that night.
- Pros: Incredibly tasty sushi
- Cons: dirty restrooms, innattentive staff
Excellent Japanese food

I've been going to izziban for quite a while now, but never actually ordered from the kitchen. I considered izziban as my sushi spot, which their sushi is very good-but after trying their Japanese dishes I was amazed at how good they were. After trying their bento box combinations for 3 days in one week, I brought in my cousin here for a surprise birthday. The whole family loves Izziban now and cant thank them enough for their warm hospitality and delicious food!
- Pros: Execellent Japanese cuisine
Izziban has a LOT of sake
by wispEyhe at Citysearch
I love trying new sake with my husband whenever we can have an oppportunity to try something we've never had before. We are amazed at how many high quality sakes are available at Izziban. They have a great sake sampler deal for only 10 bucks for 3 shots of different types of premium sakes that pair with ...either it was chicken or pork, then beef, and saefood. I would recommend the Sho chuku bi and Kurosawa sakes!
- Pros: Great Premium Sake Selection
Great sushi

This is my FAVORITE SUSHI restaurant in Orlando
by BillKohng at Citysearch
Izziban Sushi offers my favorite sushi rolls. They have such creative rolls that all taste so good...I am seriously ...officially addicted to this place. The sushi they have is at such a great value. The best times to go are during the early parts of their happy hour, they tend to get very crowded once it gets rolling. Try the the izziban roll and the mango roll...those rolls are to die for!
- Pros: Best Sushi Rolls....sooo delicious...i'm hooked!
The best of the bests Sushi places and relaxing atmosphere!
by KholyYana at Citysearch
Sushi is my favorite food and I have visited planty of Japanise restaurants. Izziban sushi is the best! They have an amazing naturally relaxing atmosphere. Naturally because when I come there I feel like I am at home. Guys working there are very nice, friendly, and know exactly what they do. Manager is coming everytime to make sure that everything is fine.
I have always been choosing a table, but they also have a sushi bar where you can sit and watch how they make sushi. Talking about food I have to mention that all dishes are nourishing. My favorite roll is Sunset roll and when eat I can feel the taste of every nutrient in it - soft rice, gentle salmon...
It is not just a bunch of products together which have no harmony. There is a huge choice of rolls, sushi, sashimi, drinks, and so on.
Izziban sushi always makes good offers such as happy hour, or discounts on holidays.
Plus their location is very easy to find. It is right in the corner plaza on Sandlake and OBT crossing, next to Florida Mall.
This place is great for any occasion, whether it is a B-party, family or business meeting, romantic dinner, or first date.
Thank you Izziban!
Quaint restaraunt in a hopping neighborhood...
by Qualizar at Citysearch
I love to go buy sushi as much as possible, and this place makes it possible. I have only been able to go here twice now, but both times have been absolutely amazing. Me and my wife came here on a busy Saturday afternoon when the Florida mall was packed, as soon as we stepped inside, the whole atmosphere changed. The setup is very nice, modernistic, yet still is able to hold the Oriental styling. Even though it was partially busy inside, it still seemed very quiet and relaxed. The waiter was very courteous (Have not been able to sit at the bar yet), and the suishi was very good.
I have only been to one better place I feel, and that was while I was visiting up in Maryland.
This will be my new favorite restaraunt for some time to come.
Two eat for under $25
by topchef007 at Citysearch
We love this place. My husband and I dine here at least once a week during their happy hour. We sit at the sushi bar, order 4 or 5 rolls and 2 or 4 nigiri pieces off the happy hour menu and spend around $25! And the sushi is delicious! The company is good too...the sushi chefs are friendly and engaging.
- Pros: Happy hour and lunch prices
- Cons: Regular prices
