Boy,is this place disgusting. It certainly is not the classy place I expected. Also, why are the bouncers so rude.It is probably because they only make $10 an hour. Maybe someday the boucers will grow up, get some self esteem and get a real job. Yeah, your right look at them. They are too stupid for that.Stay away from this place. Its is bad news
- Pros: good location
- Cons: service, staff and management
Uneducated staff
by clojo
Uneducated, ex-con like staff. Very aggressive, rude and not trained in being hospitable to affluent clientele. It would be a fantastic venue if they would shoot the dj and hire people that are used to being in high class environments. Bouncers are only interested in getting their $200.00 week paycheck so they can do coke and return to work and take it out on us. Managers need to be inserviced on guest relations. I am a young woman who has high expectations. Blue Martini is no Nikki Beach.
- Pros: Great Location
- Cons: Uneducated staff
I can spend my money elsewhere
by msprav
I went to this place for a birthday celebration with a large group of friends. The waitress took our credit cards for payment and brought back everyone else's card but mine. She lost it along the way. She was also very nonchalant about the matter and said it was a minor issue. After alot of ranting and raving, the manager came over and he ended up comping our drinks. Needless to say I had to cancel my card and wait 2 weeks to get a new one. I refuse to patronize an establishment that is careless about how they handle their customers' money.
- Pros: Great location
- Cons: Service is lacking
Such a sad place!

I have to admit, I'm very disappointed with the way they treat their guests at the entrance! A very rude and disrespectful way of handling the business.
Even if my friend wore shoes (Lacoste) that didn't comply with the "dress code" (which is no where to find on the website), that doesn't mean you have to tell me that if I take care of you for the rest of the night, you will let us in...
What a low level, poor security man! Are you that desperate?
Of course, after several times of calling and trying to contact the manager, I give up on that little Meat Market place.
I'm sure there are people who really enjoy going there, but just the fact that they want you to pay or offer them "other services" so they can do you a favor and let you in for something that is not stated anywhere, is just ridiculous!
Sorry guys. That place is really disappointing.

I have had a complete opposite experience at this club than what I have read on this site. The staff is drop dead gorgeous and approachable. I have not had an issue with security as I apparently dress accordingly. Yes there is a dress code. The food is mainly appetizers, their tuna sashimi is by far the biggest and most delicious entree but it is the ambiance that what really sells this place. Their house band HYPR is incredible. They are by far the most talented group of performers in Orlando. They sing everything that is current and at times you will stand at attention as if a concert is happening on stage? forgetting that you are in the middle of the dance floor. Their set ranges from Pink to Red Hot Chille Peppers to Timbaland to Rihanna. You would think the actual The drinks are generous, the music loud, and the service I have experienced, excellent. If for anything else, see this band before they get signed and they are on MTV.
RUDE BOUNCERS
by qteegurl
extremely rude and prejudice bouncers. i've never been to a place where i have to pay and get lame excuses thrown in my face. we've been here almost every week (only because it's convienent for some of our friends) and by now, you KNOW the bouncers recognize our faces. but each time, they throw some lame excuses for not letting us in such as our guys shoes weren't black or shiny enough. get this, one time, they even had the nerve to tell our friend his shoes weren't pointy and classy enough to get in! what a buncha crapl! some of us were already inside so we asked to speak to the manager, and he had the nerve to tell us its not his responsibility and whatever his staff chooses to say, it's their call. can you believe this so called "management"?? we asked to speak w/ someone else w/ higher priority and they just threw us out. after that time, no matter how convienent this place maybe to some of our friends, we'll drive out of our way to go to a place thats more worth spending our money. i hope these bouncers know we're the reason why they even get a paycheck in their face... DO NOT go to BLUE MARTINI if you're looking for a good time with friends.....
- Pros: outdoor area for the summer time
- Cons: EXTREMELY rude service
Horrible and Aggressive Staff
by orlandooperative
One packed evening while I was crammed near a walkway with my girlfriend standing in front of me, a middle-eastern looking bouncer shoved his way past us. Apparently I didn't move fast or far enough because he asked me what my problem was. After scooting as much as possible out of his way without sitting on my girlfriends shoulders, he began shouting at my girlfriend telling her to move more despite the clear path that he now had. I asked him to leave us alone and why he was even still talking to us. This really angered him because he asked to take me outside and if thought I could defeat him. He was shouting and his saliva was flying in my face. His accent was so thick I could hardly understand him. I couldn't even believe what was happening! He ruined our night and I can't believe that a bouncer tried to fight me for no reason.
Six months later I met my two friends there. The cocktail waitress returned our bill after we payed about $100 in drinks but the credit card was missing. My friend informs the waitress she forgot his card. She insists that he lost it or it must be in his pockets. Management comes and starts jumps in my friends face, who is now extremely distraught. They accused my friend of lying and losing it himself. They took him into the kitchen and four bouncers began interrogating him, demanding he empty his pockets again. My friend escaped back near the dance floor. An hour after the encounter began, and has now nearly escelated into a physical altercation,...woops!! The cocktail waitress finds the credit card lying on the floor in her section of VIP where we never set foot. Looks like the stupid girl lost it after all! No appology by the manager, no free drink or anything, only snide remarks.
I don't know who these bouncers think they are but basic courtesy and respect is not in their training or vocabulary. Don't they make like $10 an hour? Perhaps they should consider that it is the patrons such as us that are paying their wadges. Don't go.
- Pros: Good drinks, catchy name
- Cons: Insecure and arrogant staff
Horrible Service
by raventhomas
I have gone here many times since it opened. It seemed like an exciting new addition to Orlando. However, the service is lousy! I would love to tell you about some of the things that the guidelines prohibit. Very egregous events but... The final straw for me was after a large party I was with contributed over $3,000 in business one evening. The group left and I lingered. A floor manager made a comment as they were leaving that they were "Timeshare Trash like trailer trash but with more money". I was standing near and commented that I was in timeshare. His response was "I am sorry for you." Now a bit offended (considering there is a rather large contingent of timeshare people who go here), I said that it has been very good to me at which time he told me that I could stop talking now and motioned for me to shut my mouth. I asked for his name and he told me I didnt need to know his name. I asked again and he told me to sit my drink down that I was finished and that I was leaving now. Unless I was willing to get into a scuffle the only thing I could do was walk away with half a drink still on the bar. This was incredibly embarrassing and I left furious. I sent an email to the Club owner from their website and haven't heard a peep. Evidently they have no appreciation for what timeshare means to Orlando. I am well respected in the industry and have been with almost every managment team in Orlando to the Blue Martini spending big bucks. As far as I am concerned they can shove it! I plan on telling as many people as I can about their attitude and horrendous behavior. I will not spend another penny at this spot.
- Pros: Place to see and be seen has popular following
- Cons: Floor managment doesn't appreciate the business
