The Capital Grill is a place to go if you need a meal of high quality. The greeting staff was professional and cordial and sat us as we arrive earlier than our schedule reservation. Our waitresses immediately appeared and offered their services with a clean uniform and a smile. To start, I ordered the smoked salmon and as an entree, I ordered the lamb chops. Both courses had a beautiful presentation and the taste was out of this world. For desert, I had the chocolate espresso cake and a double espresso coffee. The ambiance was that of a high class restaurant that was dark and full of laughter as all the other tables seemed to be enjoying their dinner experience as was I. I highly recommend The Capital Grill for a romantic dinner, a dinner party or even for a dinner if you expect great service and great food.
Pros: Service, Food Quality, Ambiance
Cons: Price

The service was great, even though I thought they were weird at the door. The food was the best! I would recommend this place for a special occasion. The steak was big enough to share with my boyfriend. now thats a good deal. especially for a steak like that. it was expensive thought so be prepared for that.

The food was fantastic! The service...even better! I have some food allergies and the manager, servers, and chef, went out of their way to make my meal a wonderful dining experience. No matter what the grade of meat is, if the chef doesn't know how to prepare it correctly, it will be " just another piece of meat". This was not " just a steak", it was a tender, juicy steak and it had good flavor. I like mine extra well done, not even a little pink on the inside, so it usually comes out either tough and dry, or it's under cooked. It was perfect. All I had to do was tell the server exactly how I wanted it and it came out right the first time. It had friendly, and yet, very professional, knowledgeable, service. They make you feel important, it's as if you are their only customer. I can see why reservations are suggested. This resturant is a class act!

The staff at Capital Grille is top shelf. I took a very important customer group there for dinner and was treated like royalty. We started with the appetizer towers and finished with a wonderful selection of desserts. In between we were treated to perfectly cooked steaks, delicious seafood and a fantastic wine selection. The best part was the satisfaction of the vegetarian in our group. The chef went out of his way to prepare a wonderful meal that he raves about to this day. I have visited several Capital Grille locations but this is by far the best I have encountered. Make sure to make a reservation because they are right across the street from the convention center and get crowded fast.
Pros: Great service and wonderful wine selection
Cons: fills up fast so make a reservation

The previous post is wrong. Prime is a certification from the federal govt that has to less to do with taste as it does wholesomeness. The beef producers set up the certified angus beef qualifications to ensure that the beef would be certified for quality and taste. CAB is the top 6.5% of all beef produced in the US... higher than govt standards, not less. Do you trust the govt to tell you about meat quality or the producers who take pride in thier product? By the way, Capital Grille does offer a prime Delmonico also. Capital Grille offers great steaks, great service, and the best hospitality towards its guests in the business. Don't just be a snob based on a government classification, trust the professionals and you will not be disappointed.
Pros: complimentary valet and self parking. Great service and food

Nice place but sure was a disappointment. My first question to my waiter was about what he thought the best Prime cut on the menu was. From the look on his face I could tell I asked the wrong question. That's because it turns out they don't serve Prime only Choice. I got a long speech about the dry-aging and how that makes the steak just as good as prime-yea, right. But you'd never know of the inferior grade of beef from the prices-very expensive. The server was overextended. We had a hard time getting attention. Too many other good steak places in town to go back here. Oh, the martinis were good. $12.50 a pop but they were good.
Pros: Good looking room
Cons: Not Prime Steaks
