Best sushi in Orlando by far! The volcano roll is my personal favorite and you can't beat the happy hour price. I eat here all the time. My husband and I love it!
Pros: Great Food, Great Price, Good Service!!
Cons: Tight seating

This place is way to americanized. The sushi was not bad but I sat at the bar and still had to order from the waiter, the waiter did not know what Hamachi was. I ordered Hamachi and he said he did not have any, I then asked if he had yellowtail and he said yes. The sushi was a little warm when if arrived, and it was just to frui frui. It was not bad it just was not great.
Cons: wait staff need to be educated, price was on the high side

I went to Shari just last Friday with one of my girlfriends for lunch. Very friendly service, the BEST sushi I have had so far in Orlando...and I've eaten a lot of sushi at a lot of different places! I love the atmosphere: very hip, mod and trendy. The sushi rolls were excellent. We got the Coco Roll, Dragon Roll and Eel roll to name a few. The fish was super fresh. You get what you pay for. I am definitely taking my man here for Valentine's Day!
Pros: The food is amazing
Cons: The seating felt a little cramped since it is a small restaurant

Shari can be h#t or miss!!!! The Toro Tartar is highly recommended, and if Toro is not available ask for it with regular tuna, it is amazing. I have enjoyed some of the freshest fish at Shari but on other occasions I received some stinky white tuna (not so fresh!!!!). The service and fish really does vary from day to day but I always end up going back. Seating can be a bit odd and the booths upstairs are much more comfortable for 2 rather than 4. The complimentary house appetizer is wonderful!
Pros: Great Tartar, best in Orlando
Cons: Service Varies daily

I'm hesitant to give this place such a high rating - simply because I'm selfish and don't necessarily want everyone to find out about it! I have traveled all over the world and been to a lot of great sushi places - but this one is the best hands down. The staff is wonderful, the sushi is incredible, and the ambience is one of a kind. When you go, take advantage of the experienced wait staff and let them recommend dishes based on your taste. I don't see how anyone could write a bad review of this place - I'm skeptical of those that did because I have been going toShari for the last 3 years and have not had ONE even remotely unpleasant experience!
Pros: Food, service, ambience
Cons: Possibly a larger wine list is the only thing I can think of

After puzzling over the choice of chairs that were more an exercise in visual design than comfortable seating, the appetizers started the meal off on a positive foot. But, when the Sushi came, the experience was all downhill from there. I've heard the quality at Shari is fairly variable, but I didn't imagine it would vary this far towards the dismal gustatory experience it turned out to be. Unless you like your Sushi bland (read: tasteless), this isn't the place to come. Most people don't realize that the Sushi rice is hard to make. And the night I went, the consistency was way off into the gummy spectrum, and I think largely responsible for the blandness of the food. A real Sushi chef knows that if you can't make the rice, you have no business making the Sushi. The only roll that had any taste was wrapped in a huge chunk of avocado and tasted just like that: avocado. Sushi is an exercise in complementary tastes; overwhelming a roll with any single taste is an artistic and culinary failure. The only positive thing I can say about the Sushi is that it didn't taste fishy. If this place does, on some nights, reach an acceptable standard, then whoever is in charge of controlling the quality and consistency of the experience should be forced to find a new job.
Pros: Appetizers
Cons: Uncomfortable seats inside, Bland Sushi

This place does not have the food or service to math its price. The people are not very friendly. Could use better service.
Cons: small portions, no parking, lousy service

Don't mind how small of a space your in. You wont even notice after you've ordered. The best sushi in Orlando by far.

We dined here for my friend's birthday. I was not going there expecting anything at all. I just wanted to be suprised and hope that it exceeded my expectations, and IT DID! I had the BEST REAL SNOW CRAB Volcano roll. I'm still thinking about it which means it's my favorite. The miso soup was kind of small and needed a little bit more flavor. The candy cane roll was also my other favorite but also kind of small. Very soft and tasty white and red tuna! I also had a never frozen super tasty spider roll wiith real soft shell crab! They also had some pretty nice gourmet desserts. I give this place 4 stars!
Pros: good service, fresh fish, friendly staff
Cons: small rolls, music a lil loud, small miso

I went here with my boyfriend and got their kind of late...Overall the restuarant is fill with modern contemporary furniture, swan like looking chairs. It is two storys but it's fairly small and the tables on the first floor are very close to each other so there's really not any privacy. Be sure to ask for a booth or one of the tables upstairs. The food here was great, sushi was fresh and couldnt complain. The area it's in is very nice and has a parking garage right behing it so it only takes two minutes to walk there.
Pros: Great Sushi, Cool Music, Great Wine and Desser
Cons: no privacy, small space
