Great food, great staff, great entertainment. We actually sat on a boat inside a hotel (how cool is that). We were seated quickly and the service and food were the best we have had on our Florida vacation and one of the best ever. We asked for the manager and a lovely young lady by the name of Ariel Niles came by and asked if there was anything she could do for us. We said everything was great and we just wanted her to know we loved the restaurant. Ariel thanked us for coming gave us her card asking if we were staying at the Palms Hotel. We said no and she said that we should as it is the best hotel in town. We agreed how cool it was and said we would be back next year. She said if we ever needed anything to please call her or any of the restaurant staff and we would be more than happy to take care of them. I will recommend this restaurant to all my friends and colleagues and tell them all to ask for Ariel as she made a great night even better for me and my wife with her kind words and big smile!

Pros: Seafood, Service, Manager

We came up to Orlando from Ft. Lauderdale and ate dinner at Sunset Sam's. There were 19 of us. The hotel where the restaurant is located is gorgeous. We had entertainment the whole time we were eating. Face painting, fire swallowers, etc. The food was excellent and the service was great. We will definitely be back.

Pros: Food, Entertainment, Service

I dined here with my wife last night. I was skeptical because hotel restaurants aren't known for good food. But it was wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. Try the potato snapper. Great wine list too! This has got to be the most bizarre restaurant in town. It's inside an enclosed atrium, but you feel like you are outside. And much of the restaurant is on a sailboat that is inside... but it feels outdoors. The table next to us was ordering these flavored rums... i guess they make them there. They were raving. We didn't try them this time, but we'll be back!

Pros: really fresh fish, good wine list, great atmosphere

Without having to make the 5 hour trip, Sunset Sam's makes you feel as if you have just wandered into Mallory Square at sunset. Street performers, reggae music and the sound of crashing waves are just a few of the treasures that you will find! Oh, and there are dynamite drinks and food as well!!! A great experience for a couple or for an entire group. The staff at Sam's is fun, energetic and attentive as well! A must for local and visitors alike.

Pros: Food, Ambience, Service

Cons: Busy

Great entertainment food and theming. When you are dining you feel like you are in Key West. The sea food is fresh and they have the best calamari in town.

I caught lunch here one afternoon. What a great meal... and the location is so cool. I actually snagged a table on the boat. Yes, it has a boat. I had to try the restaurant because my cowork kept bragging about how good the calamari is. He was right... the most tender I have ever eaten. I brought my parents to see this resort when they were in town. I wish we would have eaten here as well (we ate at the buffet - which is great too). I guess Scott Joseph from the Sentinel gave this place a good review too.

Pros: food, fresh fish, scenery

Cons: reservations
