when i go there i come out feeling are up to date on the up to date and beautiful. the staff also practices what it preaches and that helps. they are up to date on the latest techniques and know about hair and what compliments your style in a flattering manageable way!!! This enchanting salon, will have you breathless the moment you walk in. The warm family orientation will have you feeling so welcome. Venus has been my hair stylist for a life time now. He is truly an Artist in every sense of the word. Puts his whole heart into every piece of his work, from doing wedding hair styles to everyday styles he is truly a magician. You will fall head over heels in love with all the girls at the salon. Always Willing to go the extra mile with there smiles, warmth, funkiness, and up beat personalities. You will have a glass of wine in one hand and laughter through out your whole experience at the salon. I would not trust anyone else with my hair, Only Shear Madness Hair Studio.

Awesome!!

After moving to Orlando in March, I have been on the hunt for a hair stylist. This has been a very frustrating search until I stumbled upon Citysearch.

After reading the reviews on Shear Madness, I made an appointment. I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Venus......let me just say WOO HOO!! Finally, my search is over! Venus listened to what I would like and then the magic happened. The haircolor and highlights are awesome! My hair looks amazing!

The shop has a very welcoming atmosphere. You feel like you are a part of a big family! The prices are comparable to lower then what I have been paying.

Thank you Shear Madness! I will see you again next month!

Melissa was great

I made an appointment with Melissa after reading her Citysearch reviews and I was glad I did! After having a baby, my hair was in need of TLC and she did a beautiful job giving it the perfect color and cut. She sat down with me to make sure she did exactly what I wanted and she exceeded my expectationsI! I will send the rest of my family to her and would recommend her to anyone. Thanks Melissa!

Only place I will go...

My husband and I have been clients of Shear Madness stylist Melissa for about 13 years, stretching back to when she and many of the other Shear Madness stylists were at another salon. Although the location is a good 30-minute drive from our home, we will not consider going anywhere else. Back then, I had waist-length hair and was afraid to do anything with it, but since then Melissa has seen me through super-short layers, the Rachel, bobs, flips, bangs, no-fuss new-mom styles... And through it all, Melissa has helped me figure out what's best for my hair, facial shape, lifestyle, etc. It's easy to see why the stylists all seem to have such loyal clients - the atmosphere at the salon is upbeat, friendly and fashion-forward without being pretentious.

I have been in town for almost two years now, trying to find a good stylist - one that I felt comfortable with and that I knew was taking good care of my hair. (I have long hair and it seems not everyone knows how to handle it correctly.) I found Shear Madness through CitySearch and thought I'd try them just because of all the great reviews. I am so glad that I did, because right from the phone call with Michelle, the owner, I felt like I was in good hands. She set me up with Melissa, who was so nice and understanding. She was gentle with my hair and it felt so soft when she was finished. She very was professional and caring and gave me a gorgeous haircolor! Everyone at the shop was so friendly and they all seemed to enjoy working together. And I love the boutique they have! What a great place!! Thank you again, Melissa!! :-)
