My boyfriend took me here on our first date. The atmosphere is perfect, the food is fantastic, and the service is great. I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly with a good blend of spices. My boyfriend had the sirloin which was a good sized portion that was cooked exactly how he asked for it. The desserts are good to share. My only complaint is the parking. You have to park in the garage and it was raining the night we went there, so we did get rained on while walking to the restaurant. Overall great experience though, as is proven in the fact that we have been dating for 4 months now =)
Pros: Food, Service, Atmosphere
Cons: Parking

I check the 10 best often to find new and exciting places to eat. However, I was really disappointed with Hue's brunch. I had heard a lot about it being such a great restaraunt, but i was left leaving thinking it was just mediocre. First off, all should know that you can only sit outside or at the bar with out a reservation. The bloody mary bar they offer is great but very small for the amount of customers they have, therefore there is always a line. I ordered the eggs benedict with crab cakes, the crab cakes were good, nothing great. My poached eggs were over cooked, the hollidase sauce was limited, I just wasn't impressed, and quite honestly it was tastless. On the upside, our bartender was fantastic and very attentive. We enjoyed her. As for the atmosphere, it was okay, very "yuppidy" but the music was far too loud we were at brunch not a club. Thats my review take it or leave it, I just wish someone would have been honest with me with what to expect and not be so into the hype.
Pros: Attentive
Cons: Food, Bloody Mary bar, Loudness, Food..

We went there on a really late night in September. The waitress was really nice. Throughout dinner she brought out glasses from the freezer and poured our martinis into the new glasses to keep them cold (we were there for a while). OUR food was soooo DELICIOUS. We had scallops with melted cheese and bacon bits, chilean sea bass, duck, chocolate and watermelon martinis. I feel bad for the other reviewers, but our experience was 5-stars! Maybe the key is to go during their less busy hours..?

We went there yesterday, September 14th. The food is simply overpriced and tasteless. I ordered Shrimp Tempura witth saffron mashed potatoes and arugula salad. The shrimp had nothing of tempura, just regular batter and completely tasteless. Even at Red Lobster you get better fried shrimp. The mashed potatoes was terrible! The taste was simply awful, no saffron at all, just in the name. My brother and mother ordered a raviolli that also was just OK, and was supposed to have procciutto on it, we couldn't find even a tiny piece on it. Tastless food and very expensive. The place looks nice with nice people, but that's all. Don't waste your hard earned money with the food. Will never eat there again.
Pros: None
Cons: terrible food, have to pay for parking, expensive

To sum up a bad experience: tasteless food, watered down drinks, rude management. My dish was so bad that I didn't even eat it. When the waiter cleared our plates, he didn't even ask why my food was untouched or offer to take it off the bill. And our mixed drinks were heavy on the juices/sodas and light on the booze.
Cons: Prices, food, drinks

I ate here once and it was my last time. The place looked cool, but the service was slow and the food was terrible. I ate there for brunch and had the Eggs Benedict, which was bad. It seems like the kind of place that is too cool to care about how the food actually tastes.
Cons: Bad food

In retort to the chicken lady, I have been to Hue hundreds of times and NEVER got sick! And yes, I HAVE HAD THE CHICKEN. The Food is awesome (and always fresh), the atmosphere is great, and the Chefs are really some of the most exceptional talents in Orlando. The last time I went I got the Duck pasta on Cous Cous, and it was really good. I like the sauce they use on it. The vegtables were nice and crunchy. It is a little bit priceym but if you haven't been, I would really tell you to go and check it out. Be sure to make reservations! I have gone in on Tuesdays and the place is totally packed.
Pros: Cool restaurant, great food, good wine
Cons: Pricy

Avoid this restaurant! My boyfriend and I ate there very recently, both had chicken and both were really sick for the next two days. When we were finally well enough to get out of bed, I called the restaurant and asked for a refund. A manager agreed and told me to call back with our credit card information. When I did, two other managers talked to me and told me that they were NOT going to refund the dinner, despite what the other manager had said. They said that they could not accept responsibility for what happened to us by giving us our money back. I called a few more times, and they stopped returning my calls. If you are looking to eat out, go anywhere but Hue.
Pros: None
Cons: Made us sick

After reading the reviews and being ever so hungry, we didn't want to chance the bad food here. So we ate at Antonios' down the street (yummy) and later had drinks at Hue. The atmosphere at Hue had a South Beach feel to it. It was packed, the beautiful weather gave us a chance to sit outside. The Live DJ was spinning great tracks from the 70's the whole time.. The drink specials were great!! Our Waitress was super sweet!!! If you have a large Party DEF!!! Make Reservations!!!
Pros: 3rd Sunday Disco Brunch - Just drinks for us though!!
Cons: Def Make reservations!!

With all of the hype about this being a world class restaurant we were extremely disappointed by the food and service we found here. Certainly a trendy decor makes for a great setting for a bar, and the loud one beat music works well for the singles scene, but the food was mediocre at best. I can easily name a dozen restaurants, including some in the parks, with food as good and service much better. The crowded space makes for a less than comfortable dinner and the prices are way above the value recieved. For return trips there is going to have to be more concern with the food and patrons than with reading the reviews.
Pros: neighborhood, decor
Cons: expensive, crowded, mediocre food
