Best corrective color & cut

After doing my research and reading consistent rave reviews about the service and staff I decided to schedule an appointment with Sonja. My problem was complex, I am a 50 year old woman. After bleaching my long hair blonde for many years I had decided to color my hair back to a medium brown shade myself. Disaster. The lower half of my hair turned a weird greenish gray, and the upper half was a lighter brown with a brassy cast to it. I decided to start growing it out to its natural color, to my surprise the new growth was dark brown with about 25 percent gray. When I went into the salon I was greeted by the owner. Sonja’s consultation was amazing. She listened and acknowledged all of my concerns including the fact that I did not want to cut all my hair off & that I needed to be able to touch up the roots myself. She took into account my skin color, eye color and lifestyle. Then she gave me her recommendation. Somehow I trusted her completely and boy does she know her stuff. When I left the salon I had a beautiful natural healthy multi faceted shade of neutral blonde. The cut was phenomenal. I look at least 10 years younger. I have been to many top stylists in my life but trust me, if you want the best, and do not want to risk someone screwing up your hair. Sonja is an expert with color. I must also add that Will (another talented stylist) assisted in the blowout and finished off the cut. I highly recommend both stylists.

best haircut and color I've had

My hair has not looked this good since I was in my early 20's. This haircut has made my hair look and feel fuller and the color is incredible. I came in with HORRIBLE, over processed, amateaur highlights from another "upscale" salon and walked out of this salon with beautiful, glistening blonde hair. Also, ask them to suggest product and use it!! I got a haircut, color, glaze and all new products (I 'm a faithful Paul Mitchell convert) and I'm telling you it is so worth it. You are in excellent hands with these professional, caring individuals. I love you all!! Can't wait to see you for my next session (did I mention they provide counseling for those of us having mini breakdowns related to bad hair experiences?). Just moved here from NY and have to say, Sonja is my new favorite hair guru and I better not have trouble getting an appointment!! Almost afraid to tell people where I got my hair done for fear I'll have to wait in line for services. You guys are the best! Thank you:)

Awesome Salon

I went in to Robert Severo today very apprehensive because I knew the color of my hair was an absolute mess. I had waited months to get it redone/fixed because I was embarrassed and honestly thought it was almost beyond repair. My stylist, Will, came to my rescue though! He gave my color the 180 it needed and gave me the perfect cut too. He took his time (and it took a LONG time) and did a fantastic job- and the rest of staff was very friendly and attentive as well. I would recommend this salon to anyone, especially someone who is in need of corrective color.

Incredible Customer Service!

They were able to fit me in on July 4th and fix a very bad color job done at another salon. Not only did they get the color right but I walked out with the best hairstyle I've ever had!!! Amazing!!!

But they also have the nicest staff that I've every met - everyone was so kind, and went out of their way to make me feel special.

Thanks to city search for finding this fantastic salon for me.

IMPRESSIVE SERVICE

Wow...I cannot say enough about Robert Severo and the salon. I had my first microdermabrasion and from the time I scheduled an appointment to the time I left, I was impressed. Mr. Severo himself catered to me and soothed any fears over the process. I was pressed for time yet he didn't skip a step and assured me he could get me out in the alotted time. I told Mr. Severo I was not able to relax if I was supposed to and we could skip that step but during the hour I was there and the nice surrounding/music everything was great. I can't wait to try the other services available at this salon and despite the Winter Park address, it is not "ridiculously overpriced" yet it is posh and upscale. The attention to detail and Mr. Severo stating so many times, "I'm here for you...it's whatever you want" made me feel at ease as well as his calming and soothing voice. This salon is soooooo much better than other "Winter Park" salons with AAA service, class and panache! Go try it....so worth it and not at all intimidating as some salons emanate.

• Cons: NO DRAWBACKS! This salon caters to YOUR NEEDS

COLOR WOW

From the moment that I called to come in, to the time I left was one of the best times that I had in a salon in a long time, I was treated like a person and cared after. I was with Sonja for my Color and Haircut and it was a big WOW. It looks just like the picture that I had showed her. I could not be more happier. Robert Severo's has a new friend, I will be back. Thank you.

Great place for hair color and unrushed care..

Found Sonia from a a previous review on this page and wanted to add my person experience. Having had lots of hair "colorists" before and ruined ends, breakage etc. I did not want to continue with typical stylists who seem to always want to push there products and CUT hair. My stylist from California gave me his color formula and Sonia followed it will care and no other client but me was given her full care.. SHe took almost 4 hours to make my hair just beautiful with natural color all the way to the roots... I am very happy and will continue to drive over an hour to her..

• Cons: Far away but worth the drive
