Excellent place for a delicious home made lunh or dinner!

The food serve in this restaurant is cooked at order, everything is fresh and the waiters are excellent, they do not need to write the order, they just memorize it and when served the order comes to the table exactly as it was ordered. Best place in Central Florida and surrounding areas. The place is well decorated as a Mexican restaurant, very clean, the food is great and the music is fantastic. Bravo for the mariachis and the owner, who in addition to sing with the mariachis is always present to supervise the quality of food and service. Thumbs up!

best mexican food in the wourld!!!!

its soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo great. i really dont care for alot of mexican resturants but this one is the best if you dont like taco bell or tawana flats or others and are looking for a good healthy home made mexican food then go there and i highly recommended this resturant and also recommended the beef qustadeeas there totally great!!!!!!! watch out on friday ,saturday, and all day sunday friday and saturday are just busy at 5oclock 2 8 oclock

Good Mexican food in Florida? Who knew!!!

I used to frequent Taquito Jalisco's in Winter Garden when I lived there. Now that I live in the downtown area I go to the one in Metro West. I'm originally from Texas & am very picky about Mexican food. The food at Taquito Jalisco's rates right up there with some of my favorite restaurants in TX. The chicken enchiladas with verde (green) sauce are to die for & you have to have the sangria loaded with fresh fruit. They definitely have the best Mexican food in Orlando!!! And I'm not sure why the other reviews say that they are slow, because I've never had a problem. Although even if they do have a slow night it is well worth the wait!!!

The best Mexican food in Orlando, great service, great price...

If you want real Mexican food this is a place to visit. The quality of the food is outstanding with real flavor and good portions. The service is great although I would recommend you to come with no rush, especially during week ends. Also, I would like to recommend you the other Taquitos Jalisco located at Metro West. They have live music during the week ends. It's a great adventure!

Excellent spot!

The service was outstanding. The food was wonderful and the music on the weekend was incredible. I live in Illinois and I am telling everyone I know to go to Orlando just for dinner here. Excellent all around!

Absolutely the BEST!!!

After moving to Orlando in 1991 (after 13 years in Southern California) my husband and I searched for an authentic Mexican restaurant that matched the quality of those in CA. It took moving to Winter Garden 5 years ago to find that very place. Highly recommend the enchiladas and burritos; the chips and salsa are a must have! Great kids menu (not the usual burgers and chicken tenders). Even if you live on the other side of town, it is worth the drive to dine here!!!!

The Scene
Far from the maddening (tourist) crowds, Taquitos Jalisco is next to a laundromat in a nondescript Winter Garden strip mall. Inside, red tile floors, cloth-covered tables and a large "cabana" bar make up for the charm that's missing on the outside. Servers are personable and accommodating, but can't make up for a lack of speed in the kitchen. Be prepared to fill up on chips and salsa while you wait.

The Food
The menu is inspired by the flavors of proprietor Servando Lupercio's home state of Jalisco, Mexico. Popular dinners include the burro loco--a 10-inch tortilla filled with beans, rice and chicken, covered in red sauce and cheese--and the mole poblano (chicken simmered in sauce made from 20 Mexican spices and chocolate). For dessert consider the special combination of flan custard, ice cream and Mexican caramel sauce.

Great Authentic Mexican

Wonderful food and good service at a low price. Try the mole pablano it is the best I have ever had outside of Mexico and Arizona. Great for the family, my two year old daughter loves it.

The Best Mexican Food

I have tried other mexican restuarants but I have not found any as good as Taquitos Jalisco. It is absolutely the best there is. the prices are great, the food is absolutely delicious, and the service is friendly. Like taquito jalisco there will neveer be no other.
