To add to the above review. Francos Pizza also in Ocoee makes great pizza and there management are very very nice. That's where I will be ordering from now on. and they are not as pricey :)
Poor treatment of customer

I have faithfully ordered pizza from the Ocoee west location. Tonight I placed an order and was told something other than what I have always been told. The woman who picked up the phone was extremely rude refused to put the manager on the phone (apparently related) and hung up the phone on me. I order from there almost everyweek and sometimes twice a week. New management very rude and didn't seem to care how much money they just lost with losing us as customers. To think how often I have refeered them out. Never again. Poor customer service

WOW! This place has changed for the worst. Once the best place for Italian food and NY style pizza Orlando, it's a shame they let it go. Everything has changed, the owner, the management, alot of the staff. Our last dining experience was a disaster. We had this waitress with no personality what so ever and clueless. She barely spoke over a whisper. Our glasses went empty for about 15 minutes before I decided to get the attention of another waiter to refill our drinks. The bread that was served to us tasted like styrofoam and they now use whipped spead (82% vegetable oil) margarine, no more butter. We ordered pizza slices as our appetizer and even the pizza was not the same, it was just okay. The salads that came with our entrees had wilted day old lettuce and the ranch dressing was terrible. For our entrees we had the Chicken Marsala and Veal Positano, the chicken was very tough and dry, and the sauce didn't taste the same. The veal was also very tough, the potatoesthey served with the meal seemed day old and microwave reheated. We didn't want to stick around for dessert , we were already so disapointed. I asked our clueless waitress to speak with the owner or manager and apparently the owner was to engaged with paper work to come so the manager came. He seemed very short with us and wasn't at all concerned about our dining experience or our opinions on the taste of the food. I would only recommend for people to stay away.
- Pros: Plenty of parking due to the lack of customers.
- Cons: Everything goes downhill when you walk through the doors.
New Owners - Not as Good Anymore

We have been going to Postano's since they first opened many years ago. We recently have noticed changes that have been very disappointing. We would often order a ceasar salad for two (their cesar salad is very good) and we would each get a slice of either white pie or stuffed pizza. The white pizza is not as good as it used to be and they stopped serving single slices of the stuffed pie. What a disappointment that is. We went tonight and they put a basket of bread on the table. The garlic knots were terrible - they were also stale - that has happened the last few times. Tonight we noticed that the italian bread was different - it was terrible. But that wasn't a problem because we had no intentions of eating it - they now serve a small container of spread. We asked for butter and we were told they don't have butter anymore. Terrible decision.
We were talking to friends and we mentioned how disappointed we were and they told us that there are new owners and they stopped going too because the food just wasn't as good anymore.
What a shame.
- Pros: Close to home
- Cons: Fake butter - yellow whipped substance
To one side, linen-covered tables in a dimly lit atmosphere. To the other, a bustling, family-style pizzeria with the same menu.

The Scene
With an extensive selection of both traditional Italian fare and house specialties, there's something for everyone at this local favorite. Share a heaping plate of baked ziti and slurp the delectable mussels fra diavalo (New Zealand mussels simmered in spicy marinara sauce) as an appetizer. The straw and hay pasta with cream sauce, proscuitto and peas is uniquely Italian, complemented by an Italian pino nero. Meat dishes are hearty, and pizzas are made New York-style with your toppings of choice. On the casual side of Positano, grab a cheesy calzone, deli sandwich or hot Italian sub, to sit down or take out.
Truly a very special place to eat, and enjoy a very nice evening.

In July, my wife and I had traveled to Lake Wales to see the Bok sanctuary. Before returning back home to Summerville, South Carolina, my wife and I decided that we were going to stop and spend a quiet evening together in Orlando, Florida. Instead of getting off on International Drive, my wife and I made a wrong turn that put us on the Florida Turnpike, going towards Colonial Drive in Ocoee. She and I were both hungry and we just wanted to find someplace nice where we could relax and eat. After exiting the Florida Turnpike, we drove a little while longer. In driving, we came upon a sign directing us to an Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria. Though we weren't in the mood for pizza, I couldn't stand to see my wife go any longer without eating. Though we entered through the pizzeria, we were rather politely greeted and escorted to the italian restaurant located on the other side of the restaurant. From our window, we could see what appeared to be a lake of some sort. While sitting down to a candlelight dinner, where everything seemed perfect, I enjoyed watching this raccoon come out from the bushes in search of food. When a car would come, he got out of the road. When the coast was clear, he came back out in search of more food. My wife and I had a great experience at this restaurant. Both the food and the service we felt was five-star quality. The food was well prepared, well presented by our waiter, and the price was reasonable for all that we got. She and I can hardly wait until our next trip to Orlando, so we can eat at this same restaurant once again. Enjoy what is certain to be a very pleasurable dining experience. (Note: While there, my wife taught me that it is customary for the man sitting at the head of the table to test-taste the wine that is delivered to the table first. This was something that I had never realized until we saw our waiter deliver a bottle of wine to the people sitting at the table next to us. That is truly awesome.)
Average food, very expensive

We were at the West Oaks Mall and ran across Positanos on W. Colonial. We tried their pizza and a couple pasta dishes. This was not N.Y. style pizza. It was better than fast food pizza, but for $20 I expected a lot more. The pasta dishes were just okay. Runny sauce and the overall price made it not the best experience.
My wife was like....$63 for that???
Wont be back.
- Pros: pizza was okay..far from good
- Cons: sauce was very runny. very expensive!!!!! $20 pizza $15 pasta -not woth it
We eat in the formal dining room every Saturday nite!

My wife raves about the Escarole & Beans, I love the Penne alla Vodka, the kids love the pizza and calzone - our family has enjoyed Positano's for several years and are never disappointed. Highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. And, if you live nearby, they deliver - how can you beat that!!!
- Cons: The pizza side can get crowded if you don't arrive early
Love it

I have been going to Positano's in Apopka for years, atleast once a week. It is the best Italian, authentic food around. The pizza is awesome, something that you dont get too much of around here in the land of chain restaurants. The staff is very warm and cordial and make an attempt to get to know you.
The owners are very accessible and are concerned with your dining experience. I highly recommend it.
- Pros: warm atmosphere, personal touch, GREAT food
