i went here for vacation and i couldnt be more disappointed.. there were many fat women running around in small bathing suits and my kids were with me! that is unacceptable! the roller coasters were fun but all of the workers made my experience worse..everyone was in a bad mood and told my kids to shut up! that is also unacceptable.

Just want to point a few minor mistake. a) Gwazi Wooden Coaster is actually not that old. Only 9yrs old. and B) 4 coaster serve as the big anchors for the park All I have to say is Busch Gardens Tampa is one of the best park around. Not so many rides like other amusement parks, but it has variant animals and vegetation. I always visit Busch Gardens each year. This year they have a new area called Jungala and it is an amazing beautiful area filled with nice vegetation, animals and rides for the younger ones. And its close to the 2 bigger coaster SheiKra and Kumba. Def a must visit

Pros: Well rounded park

Cons: Prices Went up this year...twice

We went to Busch Gardens in April for Spring Break 06. We had the best time!!! The weather was wonderful not too hot. The new roller coaster Sheikra was the best ever. This roller coaster is amazing. The other ones are awesome too but this one is the best ever. We will go back to Busch Gardens each year. If you have a teenager this is the place to go.

Pros: Very clean, very beautiful, great value for the experince

Cons: none it is all good

Our family visited Busch Gardens a few years ago while vacationing in Florida. What a beautiful park!! They obviously take great care and employ many gardeners to have this appeal. The rides were fun and my kids enjoyed seeing the animals at this park. We were very inpressed and hope to visit again when we are in Florida.

Pros: Beautifully lanscaped, fun and attractive rides, animal attractions also a plus.

Cons: Waiting in line for the more popular rides, more expensive than other parks.

This place rocks. We were in Florida for 9 days and did everything we could from Sea World to Disney World to Busch Gardens to Ft Walton Beach. Busch Gardens was the MOST fun by far. Sea World is great too so get the ticket where you get a discount on both. I highly recommend it.

There is so much here for the entire family. There are rides for the toddlers, as well as the Dragon's playland for the climbers. They have plenty of more relaxed attractions like a circumference train ride, a sky ride, an enclosed safari monorail, and various natural animal attractions. This is Anhauser Busch's park (hint: BUSCH GARDENS ), so they have clydesdale paddocks where you can check out these magnificent beasts. For you beer lovers, you can enjoy 2 free small draft beers in various places. The food is great. There are many other eateries from fast type food to a nicer restaurant near the entrance. You can eat outside in cafe style or eat indoors. The prices range from modest to very expensive. Lots of side yummies too. Moving on, they periodically have street performers such as you may see in Africa as well as a neat little marching band that parades through the streets. There are many variety shows that keep with the African/Morrocan theme. I just noticed a 3d pirate show on the web I haven't seen yet. For those who like a County Fair, they have an area where you can win stuffed animals and such. Don't try anything at the start of your day. You may have to carry a stuffed tiger bigger than you! Now this area can cost a bit depending on how many times you let them talk you into throwing a ball or 2. For the thrill seekers, there are many great roller coasters like the Kumba and the Montu to name a few. If you want to get wet, there's Stanley Falls and Tanganyika Tidal Wave. If you stand on the bridge, the Tidal Wave will drench you when it drops down and splashes into the water below! The summer is hot, and the lines are long, but what did you expect at any park in the summer? The world likes Florida. Sorry! Try late Nov/early Dec if you don't care to get wet. I rode the Kumba 3 times in 10 mins! One last thing. They have gay days, so plan accordingly. You can schedule your church or school for kids camps or up close animal encounters.

Pros: Stuff for all ages, food, variety of attractions

Cons: long lines in summer, hot summers, rude tourists ( Fla native! )

I live in Tampa and I have the Silver Passport to go there as many times as I want, free parking, 10% off meals and merchandise. I go there more times then I can count a year and it still has not brought my mind to think the park was boring. I do have to admit the summer times can be a hassle. There are a lot of tour groups and too many tourists that destroy the parks experience (like them making a mess or being rude and overcrowding) Yes it is in Florida and it gets hot. It can get very crowded but only during the peak season such is how it gets everywhere. The rides are amazing! Sheikra I have riden countless times, but it doesnt take away the greatness of its other coasters. Its a great place to visit a 100 times over!

If you like to walk around for hours to get to the only 3 cool rides and wait in hour long rides, you will love this park. Cause the rides are the only real reason people go to amusement parks, right? This is too expensive, too many people and they might as well call it a big waste of time. Again, if you like to spend a lot of money and spend hours walking around to ride 3 rides, you are in for the time of your life. I forgot to mention you are doing this in 90 degree weather most of the time.

Busch Gardens combines the fun and excited of some of the worlds best roller coasters with some of the most exotic animals. Part zoo part amusement park this place has it all. If youre tired of the same old theme park adventure (Disney and Universal) why have you not been to Busch Gardens?!?! This is not a small town amusement park folks. This is a five star family entertainment fun filled place to spend a few days. Its cooler than Orlando with the Gulf breeze and youre so much closer to the ocean for a days trip there! Since Ive moved to Atlanta, this is the one park that I miss the most. Im planning a trip sometime next year. Still doubtful Ill get on that new roller coaster though. 90 degrees straight down!!! I dont think so. :)

Forget boring Disney! If you are after thrill rides, Busch Gardens is the place 2 go 2. I personally dont care about seeing funny people in costumes or visiting fake countries and am not into movies either. This is my main reason for loving Busch Gardens. It is simply the best attraction you can go to in Florida if you actually wanna go on rides. They have a huge selection of coasters, from smaller ones to the big shiekra which no 1 should miss. They also have cool water rides and the safari. Just visit it and you will see what i'm talking about- you wont regret it!
