We really like the doctors and staff at Windermere Pediatrics they really seem to care about our children. I prefer Dr. Cardona and Dr. Watson, both are very patient and caring; the nurse Terry Jackson is also very good. After seeing my daughter she gave us a follow up call to make she was doing well, I was very impressed. I am always able to schedule an appointment when I need one.
Cons: Busy

Being a new parent you are humbled when your child becomes ill and you need the professionalism that comes from a doctor. I can't say the doctor's at this office are uncertified because they all probably had enough skill to pass the board.....the challenge presented by these doctors is their inadequate abilities to diagnose a childs symptoms. My child has been to this practice 3 times in the last three weeks and they actually wanted me to bring him back in for a forth visit today. I am more upset with myself than the staff, because I shouldn't have even called them for advise after 3 failed attempts. I asked one of the doctors at the emergency room where we had to take my son and they stated "Windermere Pediatrics has gone into a tailspin since the departure of the founder and president Marla Robbins has left." I took the advise and my child has never been happier. I am in total agreement with the previous posting because the staff and doctors are definitely not on the same page. I was impressed with the front desk staff, because at least they had the common sense not to charge me the copay for the last 2 visits seeing that he was coming back for the same problems. One last thing....you always feel rushed by the doctors because they are pressed to see so many kids in the day....if they spent a little more time with their patients maybe the first diagnosis would be the correct one.

Although the staff was friendly, the appointments were disorganized. I would have an appointment card that the receptionist gave me in my hand, and they would always call the day before the appointment and would have a different time than was printed on my appointment card. I took my daughter in to see the doctor maybe 4-5 times for shots, check-ups, etc only to see her actual physician ONE TIME! The rest of the time, it was nurses and other doctors of whom which i never met. Many of small details of my daughter's health records were ignored, and I was even hung up on by the answering receptionist one Saturday afternoon when I called for a nurse. There are more and more things that I noticed about the office, but to sum it up, they were disorganized and inefficient. The doctors, nurses, and staff were all kind, but the way the office was ran was inconsistent to say the least.
Pros: Friendly office staff!
Cons: VERY DISORGANIZED!

I have seen all of the doctors at Windermere Pediatrics, and none of them are bad doctors in my opinion. However, Dr. Cardona is our favorite. He really seems to love kids, and he is very good with my infant son. He is a compassionate person who really seems to care about his patients. His advice and the advice of his staff have given me solutions to everything from cradle cap to infant constipation. He was patient and very nice to me when I called with multiple questions about caring for my son when he was a newborn. In summary, Dr. Cardona is "a keeper."
