In Short
This highly recognized hotel chain has been taking care of business and leisure travelers since 1957. Professionals appreciate the business center, meeting facilities, in-room work area with ergonomic chair and no-glare lamp, and express check-out. Those who come to kick back take advantage of the pool and gift shop. Spacious rooms include a comfy bed with a quilted-top mattress, oversized comforters and feather pillows. Additional amenities include a fitness center, whirlpool and concierge services.

Great for those wishing to avoid the family crowds and business travelers. The restaurants and lounges are all great, a bit pricey but that should be expected. Rooms were just average but all in all this is a really nice hotel. I do agree however with the complaints about parking. Would stay here again.
- Pros: Restaurants, Amenities/Pool
- Cons: Parking
Like a city within a city, this graceful tower hosts world-renowned golf, an acclaimed spa and three fine-dining establishments.

The Scene
The largest Marriott in the world, this property consists of 230-acres and a 28-story tower with descending tiers on either side. With hundreds of thousands of square feet of meeting space, a considerable number of guests are business travelers. World-renowned recreation facilities, including the Hawk's Landing Golf Course, eight tennis courts, six pools, a 4,000-square-foot fitness center and a spa, attract affluent vacationers as well.
The Details
Guest rooms feature down comforters, private balconies with patio furniture and vast views of the property and beyond. Three of Orlando's top restaurants reside here--Ristorante Tuscany, Hawk's Landing Steakhouse & Grille and the hotel's headliner, Mikado Japanese Steakhouse. There's a significant nightlife scene as well, with a total of ten restaurants and lounges combined.

It's a regular Marriott, matter of fact I've stayed in nicer Marriotts that are not that big. The only thing fancy is the building itself. Although from our room the view was spectacular on New Years Eve. We saw all the Disney fireworks at the sane time. That was awesome. But as far as the room itself, it was overrated, overpriced. Speaking of overpriced, an omelet was about $15 and you had to pay to park in a garage that was not close to the hotel, and you had to pay for transportation to the theme parks.
- Pros: view from room, pool area
- Cons: plain rooms, parking, pricing
