What users are saying:
This restaurant and club offers a sexy, spicy, sizzling taste of Latin flavor both on a plate and on the dance floor.

In Short
The experience is like dining in ancient Mayan courtyard, where you're awarded offerings of tremendous portions of classic arroz con pollo (chicken with rice, beans and plantains) and sizzling fajitas. Or keep it light with the Chilean Salmon Ensalada garnished with avocados and cilantro-lime dressing. After 10 pm, club-goers dance salsa and merengue as lights flare and a DJ spins Latin, reggaetone and freestyle hits.
The Alternative to try at City Walk
by arandall
If you don't want to wait over an hour to get "a cheeseburger in paradise," take the short walk up to The Latin Quarter. The times I have been there the wait is minimal and once you are inside the food, the service and the atmosphere are definitely above average. This is a great place to unwind after a day at Universal.
Stylish, Aztec-inspired restaurant and dance club.

The Scene
You don't need to be living the vida loca to recognize the recent surge in popularity of Latino-based music. With a thriving Latino population of its own, Orlando was primed for Latin Quarters, a stylish, Aztec-inspired restaurant and dance club at Universal's CityWalk.
The Draw
The club taps all 21 Latin nations for its music, but features Peruvian and Bolivian bands. In the case of house band Adalberto Bravo y su Orquestra Identidad, the number of members reaches into the double digits, making for an exotic assault on the aural and visual senses. The dance floor, surrounded by a moat and situated under faux mountainside and starry sky, is a welcome mat for your salsa, your merengue and your cha-cha.
Understanding Latin Culture
by sisinjc
Latin Quarter IS a tourist spot, and better known for the music and dancing than anything else. The food is average, but the music is great and the atmosphere is along the lines of a typical latin atmosphere, fun, friendly, loud... So if you are wanting a quiet latin dinner, there are plenty of other places, but if your intention is to eat something and then enjoy a party, then this is the place to go.
- Pros: great music, fun atmosphere, Latin environment
- Cons: expensive food

This is definatly a tourist spot. Unless you like not being able to hear what anyone at your table is saying do not go. The food was good and drinks good but a little expensive for what you get. We went because we were curious and now its out of our system and we won't return.
Very poor service, passable food
by Forever42
My boyfriend and I went because of a 25% discount for annual passholders. We made reservations for non-smoking at 7:30, and then were told at 7:30 that we had to either take a smoking table or wait 20 more minutes. When we sat down, we didn't see our waiter for 5-10 minutes. Someone else brought out our appetizer, and then the dinner 3 minutes later. The food was just ok, and overpriced. We were fed up and wanted to leave, but even though it wasn't busy, we were kept waiting for another 20 minutes. We are usually very patient people, but it was ridiculous! Definitely stay away from this restaurant.
- Pros: Nice ceiling
- Cons: Expensive, Poor service
