Best salon in Orlando by far!

I have been in Orlando for six years and KINKZ salon is the best around. If you are looking for a friendly professional atmosphere look no further. Johnny Mack is the best in the business and I highly recommend that you make an appointment with him. You will be pleasantly surprised!

STYLIST MOVED

Dyan, Christina, annette, etc have moved down stairs to the fountains salon and spa... WOW what a huge differance ... i love there new salon and they do not seemed as stressed having johnny screaming and yelling at the all day!

Johnny Mack Rocks!

I really felt special from the moment I walked into the salon. The front desk was friendly and as soon as I sat down I was given a glass of wine. The salon was bustling with clients and everyone was very professional. The head massage during my shampoo and the beautifull outcome of my highlights topped off the experience. I felt like a superstar when I walked out the door. A great experience from beginning to end with reasonable prices!

very disappointed

this salon was recommended to me and i have to say it was awful .i arrived 10 mins early and sat for nearly another 35 mins before someone noticed i replied that i had to leave at a certain time . i wish i had of walked out as i was rushed through and my hair cut is rather not descript and honestly iam going have it cut again .possibly the worst salon experience i have had .this was my first time visiting and it will be the last . i wouldnt even give it a star but i have to to get this published

Great Salon, Great Stylist!

I was looking for a new hairstyle, more up to date, and needed to get the color touched up. I had seen an article about Kinkz and decided to go to Danielle. She's great! The color touch-up was perfect (my former stylist took multiple tries to get it right) and the cut is sleeker and much more stylish than what I had. The prices are very reasonable and I was so happy with the cut! Danielle really knows what she's doing and is easy to talk to. I recommend this salon, and Danielle, very highly!

I was visiting family and needed my color touched up. I'm very picky about who does my hair, but I did a computer search for salons that used Goldwell color and came up with Kinkz. I had my color done by Danielle using my regular colorist's formula plus a cut and blowdry and was EXTREMELY PLEASED with the results. My hair even looked good the first time I styled it myself after the cut. The prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend the stylist and salon and will definitely return the next time I'm in town.

what a fun treat! great pedi and they followed it up with an offer of something i had never seen before. glitter gel toes, cute and sparkly!! now i get great colors to go with different holidays, sporting events, special ocassions, etc...

since johnny mack took the reigns at kinkz salon the level of service and professionalism has increased dramatically. I love my hair, and other services like the glitter toes. too bad the previous nail tech lost out when she walked. johnny has huge potential to become the go-to salon in Orlando for stylists and clients alike.

Finally! A good salon in Orlando!

I used to go to Kinkz salon when it was located on Apopka-Vineland, then stopped when it moved due to my stylist leaving. That ended up being a good thing because I found Johnny Mack. I have been with Johnny ever since (over 5 years) and couldn't have been happier when he baught Kinkz. I have sampled many stylists there and now have a consistent, warm, friendly and skilled salon to call home! Imagine having a back up sylist in the same salon! You can actually get your hair done when it is convenient for YOU. I love the products in the salon, like Renee Furterer, and the nail salon has OPI, private, comfortable massage chairs for your pedicure, and a sunny interior. Go to Kinkz! You can thank me later:):):)

The ONLY place to get your hair done!

When it comes to my hair, I am EXTREMELY picky. I'm originally from Chicago, so when I moved here, for a while it seemed like I couldn't find even one salon in Orlando that did a good job on my hair. Either it was cut too short because the stylist didn't listen to me, or not enough was cut, or not enough layers were put in, or too many layers, or (to my shock and horror) some stylists couldn't even cut hair evenly...you get the point. Well, I finally found a place that actually has multiple stylists that I trust, listen to me, and do a spectacular job! I trusted my main stylist there so much that he was the first one I allowed to highlight my hair, and now I refuse to go to anyone else! When he does highlights, it always looks so natural (and that's hard for someone with hair as dark as mine) and the color holds...for a long time! I definitely get my money's worth when he does my highlights, and I always always always get compliments from friends and co-workers. He and another stylist at the salon also do an amazing job on my cut...they actually listen to how I want my hair cut. Sometimes I bring pictures and sometimes I just say verbally what I'm looking for, but either way they always cut my hair exactly how I want it. I think it's a testament to how good Kinkz is to be able to say that I have two stylists that I feel comfortable going to, and there are definitely a couple other stylists there that I would trust with my hair as well! Also, the atmosphere of the salon is really fun and friendly, so to me that just completes the whole expereince. If you are looking for a quality salon filled with talented and outgoing stylists, I highly recommend Kinkz.
