Try the ribeye with mushrooms

This place had the best ribeye that I have eaten since moving to Orlando. I am from the midwest so that is saying something ! The menu had a decent selection and was average priced for a restaurant that caters mostly to tourists. The atmosphere is fun especially if you are into the Nascar thing. We took my inlaws here and they seemed to really enjoy it. With 4 adults ordering drinks and an appetizer expect to spend about $100 for dinner.

Bad Service

The only time that I have ever had to request a child's menu for my 4 year old. Not ever ychild drinks soda but that is the only option on the child's menu. There are also no prices listed on the child's menu.

The table next to us had to request silverware because they received their food but not the silverware.

On a 95 degree day the hostess is trying to get everyone to sit on the patio when there is hardly anyone in the air conditioned restaurant.

There is a constant parade of people entring through the gift shop searching to find where the hostess station is located. The restaurant entrance is not through the gift shop but everyone seems to enter through the gift shop and walk through the dining room because there is no clearly marked signage.

The food tasted typically okay.

You go there once to check it out but there are better places to go for the next meal.

Gets the checkered flag for good food and fun atmosphere.

The Scene
A mini-NASCAR museum fills the lobby, and occasionally a real winning NASCAR sits near the entryway. The gift shop features an array of NASCAR collectibles, clothing and knickknacks. Two full-sized race cars hang over the dining room, intermittently gunning their engines, which could frighten children and annoy others.

The Food
The racing theme carries through the entire menu. Appetizers are called qualifying laps and desserts are dubbed sweet success. The fried popcorn shrimp should fuel most tastebuds for the main course. The Thunder Road burger comes piled with melted pimento cheese, sauteed onions and lettuce. The Bill France pork chops-two char-grilled chops served with thick mashers-are big enough to satisfy even the heartiest eater.
