Great when it was open!

Race Rock was one of our favorites in a town saturated with touristy restaurants. Unfortunately it closed in mid-2007.
NASCAR, nachos and more at Orlando's raciest restaurant.

The oft-neglected union of race-car driving and family dining reaches a pinnacle at Race Rock. Historic race cars, outfits and motorcycles litter the dining room and bar area; stools are shaped like crankshafts and large video monitors replay some of racing's most spectacular finishes. Fare is theme-restaurant standard, with a few amusing names thrown in for fun: Trackside Patty Melt, Offshore Racer (salmon filet) and picks for the kids from the Quarter Midget Menu. Pizzas, pastas and burgers round out the rest of the picks. Watch where you park, taking care not to ding any Monster Truck special guests.
