In Short
The first U.S. branch of the YMCA started in Boston in 1851; there are now more than 2,500 locations nationwide, making it the country's largest nonprofit community service program. Each YMCA reflects the community it's in, offering differing services based on the area. Most include fitness areas with aerobic equipment, classes and racquetball and tennis courts. Many also have day care and after-school programs, as well as summer day camps.

The YMCA and Aquatic Center on International Drive provides great facilities, including a training pool, olympic sized pool, diving pool, work out area, and various classes all included in their membership.
There's free parking, great staff that are extremely helpful and knowledgeable, child care whilst parents work out and massages are available for an extra cost.
Members also have the option of camps for their kids & these are at a very reasonable cost.
The classes that are offered are taught by friendly professionals and the types of class change regularly.
If you are interested in the workout/weights area, make sure that you ask for the tour. During the tour you are shown how to use the equipment effectively and efficiently.
Why bother with other gyms that have high membership fees when everything's here?? Just remember that it's fun at the Y M C A .... !!!
- Pros: Excellent facilities, Knowledgeable staff, Great classes
