Best Food

What can I say about Bahama Breeze. Great food, excellent service. Every year I visit Orlando, I look forward to dining at Bahama Breeze. The portions are huge. Everything I've had has been very flavorful. The shrimps are a nice size. I really love this restaurant. I highly recommend it.
- Pros: Great food, great service
- Cons: can get crowded and loud
Great food, great atmosphere, lots of fun!

My husband and I went here with some friends, one of whom had been there before. It was every bit as good as we were told. The staff was great and didn't mind that we were a little silly. (We were celebrating.) We all got something different and sampled a little of each and everything we had was wonderful. We didn't have a very long wait, maybe 30 minutes, and it was a Saturday night, but it was about 8 p.m. so maybe that made a difference. In any case, we have another trip to Orlando coming up and plan to go back.
The place to go

I love this restuarant. The food and ambience are great. The only problem is waiting. It seems to take forever to be called for a table. So eat a bite before going. The appetizers are huge. A drink and the appetizers are very filling. It is defiinately a must try. I go every time I'm in Orlando.
- Pros: food, appetizers, price
- Cons: crowded
Caribbean food and cool drinks with a Florida twist.

The Scene
This festive place can get a little rowdy, especially in the late hours. A contributing factor may be the drink menu, which includes more than 50 beers and a wide variety of fruity umbrella drinks. Happy-hour prices are featured around the clock. Check out the outside covered deck when dining or just sit back with a cold one and enjoy the nightly live entertainment.
The Food
The house specialty is a moist and tasty "fish in a bag"--strips of mahi mahi in a parchment pillow flavored with carrots, sweet peppers, mushrooms, celery and spices. Paella--a rice dish brimming with shrimp, fish, mussels, chicken and sausage--shouldn't be missed. Coconut-curry chicken is a light-tasting treat: sauteed chunks of chicken sprinkled with fresh coconut. For dessert, indulge in the pina-colada bread pudding or the tart Key lime pie.

I did some research on which restuants had the best rating and reviewer comments. Bahama Breeze stood out, so we went to try it. We were not disappointed. The service was good, but the food took a little long getting to us. The manager came over and gave us an explanation for why. Which I felt was good on there part and he gave us his card and said if we would come in another time and there was a waiting list, show them the card and we will get you seated right a way. WOW!!
The food was very good. Now there building a new resturant in Seattle, can't wait to try it.
Great food, good prices, a bit too noisy

I love the food at Bahama Breeze. They mix different flavors together and make new interesting ones. Most of the dishes I've had have been very tasty.
I recommend the coconut shrimp, the ribs, and their version of banana's foster for dessert.
The only problem is with the band playing, you can't hear anyone in your party. I would recommend staying away from here on Friday and Saturday nights if you want to hear the people you eat with.
- Pros: Original dishes
- Cons: noisy
Drinks. Ahi tuna were perfection!
by tparadis
We've been back to this location on each Florida trip annually for the last three years and it never disappoints. The drinks and shooters are wonderful - try the oatmeal cookie shooters! The Ahi tuna was a real eyeopener and is a favourite. Service can be slow and it can take a bit to get a table. Full menu available in the bar. A bit noisy for two people and conversation, best for a group.
- Pros: Ahi tuna, Appetizers, Unique main dishes
- Cons: Noise, Long wait for tables

Unique, big flavored foods and great drinks (fresh juices, good recipes) make this a winner. Lively, fun atmosphere that includes live entertainment outside on the deck.
- Pros: Service, Food, Drinks
- Cons: Wait for a table, Crowded, Loud
