Items stolen and room was filthy. I stayed here for 1 night as I just live in Jacksonville and was simply needing a bed after the amusement park. When I returned from the park the door was partially opened and my suitcase, clothing, perfume, jewelery were all gone. I immediately called the front desk who actually accused me of leaving the door open. After I explained to her that all of my things had been stolen, the door was closed and only myself and their staff have access to the room she asked me if there was any sign of break in! I hung up on her to call the police as the only way in the room was the key which I and their staff had. The next thing I know the manager was at my room (where he LET HIMSELF IN!!!!) screaming and demanding that I apologize to his staff. He actually told me that I could not call the police! He stated "If the police are called here, I do it" The officers came and we filed our report, It was late and I was anxious to get to bed, I woke up and went to the bathroom to see when I turned the lights on long silver like insects EVERYWHERE...I don't know what they were but there had to be more than 50 in the bathroom alone. I would NOT recommed this motel to ANYONE!!! Not only were we stolen from, we dealt with unproffessional maniac verging staff but the place was filthy and littered with insects we could not identify! (that only come out when the lights are off...EEEEK). Please, have every one you know avoid this motel...for your own sake. Learn from my unfortunate experience.…
