Distinctive whitewashed and tile-roofed chain offers convenience and consistency.. In Short
Since opening its first location next to the San Antonio World's Fair in 1968, this well-known chain has become synonymous with consistency and reasonable rates. Room conveniences include data port phones with voice mail, work spaces, coffeemakers, irons, hair dryers and TVs with premium channels, movies-on-demand and video games. Budget-conscious travelers appreciate the free continental breakfast and families traveling with children like the pool and kids-stay-free policy.

Big room, Helpful Amenities, Wonderful Costumer Service. This hotel was exactly what it should have been. The staff was helpful and kind, and when I checked in I received a little welcome bag including deodorant, shampoo, coupons, etc. (I don't think it was from the hotel, it was from the visitor welcome attendant in the lobby but nonetheless it was a good surprise) The pool was FANTASTIC AND HEATED - the Jacuzzi was grand. There was also a little (little) eatery by the pool but it wasn't open during my stay. The breakfast was large and various. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Given it wasn't a 5 star resort, it was def. worth referring my sister to it the next month where her and her husband brought the kids.

What a Dump!. If I wanted to stay at a dump that's where I would have reserved a room. Springs sticking out off chairs, dirty carpeting, curtains, bathroom drain not closing, broken down heating/cooling unit - all for the glorious price of $90 a day! Unfortunately I went down during Spring break time for the college kids so I had no place else to go to. The staff was rude beyond belief with my 57 year old husband being threatened by a security guard. No manager on duty between Friday and Monday morning. The corporate chain did not give a darn. Told me I should have taken a phone book and found somewhere else to stay. Nice wasn't that?
