The Scene
Located in the Mercado shopping and entertainment center, this saloon seems to thrive on contradiction. The interior, with its barber-shop quartet costumes and red, white and blue streamers, seems better suited to '20s political conventions than modern music halls. Its circular center stage holds two grand pianos, and their players kick out '50s rock and roll standards (as well as some more modern staples) to the dance floor below.

What to Expect
A rowdy, cantankerous party atmosphere, particularly on weekends, when the alcohol pours freely. Families can enjoy a tamer, but no less enjoyable, atmosphere by arriving around dinner time--the establishment serves up a full menu of American standards.

Entertainment In addition to the pianists, waiters often join the musicians on stage and sing-a-long or play instruments. Patrons are encouraged to do the same.
