Worst Pizza ever!!!
by bradnphx
I'm writing about the new one located on Edgewater Dr. in College Park. Usually we order from Alfonso's accross the street but decided the other day to try American Pie Pizza. Here's what happens when you call: (1) The phone will ring busy or (2) It will go to a fax machine or (3) It goes to a voicemail box that is full. I tried calling their other two locations to make sure I had the phone number correct. One location laughed at me on the phone saying that there "wasn't one on Edgewater" (not true), and the other one said to "just keep trying" and they should "answer it within an hour or so." Hey, no problem. I have an hour to waste dialing the phone. Eventually we gave up. Chalked it up to just being newly open and decided to give it a try later.
Fast forward a few weeks. Upon trying again we were, surprisingly, able to get through. We ordered their special pizza "The American Pie" and two side salads. Needless to say they couldn't find our address and had to keep calling since their delivery driver was lost. When he arrived we got our pizza and salads. The salads are made with the same toppings that you get on the pizza (finely chopped up veggies), we weren't given a choice of dressing so they included their balsalmic vinagrette. Awful! Way too sweet and the salad had seen better days. But on to the main course: The pizza. Words cannot describe the soupy, gloppy, mess that was in the box. So wattery that you couldn't even eat it with a fork. The crust was so thin you could see through it and the toppings were beyond disgusting. Total for a medium pizza, two bad salads, tax and tip was $30.00! For far less you could get a DiGiorno and it would taste much better.
On the upside according to their menu there will soon be locations in Hunters Creek, Ocoee, Waterford Lakes, and Altamonte all ready to serve you the worst pizza ever created! Enjoy!
- Pros: NOTHING!
- Cons: BAD PIZZA! POOR MANAGEMENT! POORLY TRAINED STAFF!
