My Favorite Breakfast Place

IHOP? NOT! Waffle House? Only when I'm drunk and have the munchies (sometimes though you just crave Scattered, Smothered, Covered, and Diced!). Denny's? Only if nothing else is open. LE PEEPS!? Absolutely the best breakfast around. Their fresh selection and awesome skillets deserve my critical acclaim. If you've never been, it's a must. But remember to try their Gooey Buns! But, go early as they are only open for breakfast and brunch - which is hard for me living the night life I do. Servers and bartenders and other creatures of the night may want to consider going before they get to sleep. ENJOY!
- Pros: Good Food, Good Value, Good Times
- Cons: Slower service, Crowded

The restaurant is clean, the service is good and the food is typical breakfast food. Good pancakes! They are willing to prepare your food as you request and it is priced reasonably, would recommend.
Best breakfast in town

LePeep has the best food in town. The skillets are to die for and the pancakes fill you up. If you like crispy potatoes ask for them to be cooked a little more because they are homestyle potatoes. Make sure you go before 10 a.m. or after 11:30 a.m. if you don't want to wait on Saturdays and Sundays. Forget about Denny's or Perkins! This is the best deal in town for breakfast or lunch at LePeep. Ask for a LePeep Club Card the 7th entree is free!!!! You won't regret having Breakfast or lunch here. The Sicilian is great for lunch.
- Pros: Thumbs up on food.
- Cons: Not the newest place in town but making improvements
Not Open for Dinner, Shouldn't Be Open for Lunch or Breakfast Either

I decided to give Le Peep a try because of its sky-high rating on Citysearch. I tried the banana nut pancakes and they were just like yo mamma used to make--if she was a lousy cook who used a cheap supermarket pancake mix and not quite ripe bananas. I also ordered eggs that somehow were both cold and overcooked, sausage (with a little piece of bone in it) and a glass of (warmish) OJ. The "more than fair" bill came to $17, not including gratuity, just for me! What made up for the food, however, was the wonderful ambience, which was straight out of a 1980s sitcom with *very* low production values. Gosh, wasn't "Charles in Charge" great?
But how to account for that astronomically high rating? Perhaps fraud, you know, the owner slyly logging in under multiple screen names to give their shoddy (that sounds close to the adjective I really want to use) eatery rave reviews. I suspect, though, that the good people who run Le Peep lack enough initiative to do that. Therefore, I attribute the positive reviews to one thing: pity. This is such a pathetic little joint that one must harden his heart before writing a truthful critique.
I was taught that if you don't have anything nice to say, it's better to say nothing at all, but in this case I had to make an exception, because it seems to me that this 9.8 rating is like a life-support machine for a patient that should have long ago gone to his reward. It's time to pull the plug!
- Pros: You'll Feel Like an Actor in a Mediocre 80s Sitcom
- Cons: Everything else!

Every morning, I would just die and go to heaven each time they served me breakfast with a cup of coffee, and a large OJ to boot. It is small, quiet, and very well kept each and everytime I am there.
Keep up the great work Le Peep, I will soon be back to Orlando to continue to enjoy your service and food.
- Pros: Good Food, Great Service, Personal and Friendly
- Cons: none, none, none
When in doubt, try it out!

Orlando's Best Breakfast!

Le Peep has by far the best breakfast in Orlando. I have been there many times and have had an excellent experience every time. They offer unique choices, healthy choices, and the classic comfort foods, and all are excellent. The Blueberry Granola pancakes are out of this world, and the skillets are great. Don't forget to try the Cinnamon Roll Latte- it is the best! The service is great, the food is great, and the people are friendly. Definitely the place to go for breakfast!!!
- Pros: Great food & coffee, Great Service, Good Kids Menu
This unpretentious West Orlando eatery serves up huge portions of comfort-food favorites, and at more than fair prices.

The Scene
Unpretentious in every way. A cross between Denny's and a neighborhood pizza joint. Locals flock to the place for breakfast and, particularly, weekend brunch.
The Food
The menu features everything from bagels, oatmeal, fresh fruit and freshly squeezed juices to more filling fare like omelets, pancakes, French toast, waffles and fruit crepes. Check out the granola blues (granola pancakes stuffed with blueberries), the blushing peach crepes (crepes doused in peach sauce and topped with sour cream), or the Sir Benedict omelet (diced chicken breast, mushrooms, broccoli and cream cheese folded in egg and topped with Hollandaise sauce). An interesting choice is the Desperado Skillet (Tex Mex-style breakfast potatoes, chorizo sausage, green chilies and onions, all engulfed in homemade salsa and topped with melted cheese and two basted eggs), which will surely put hair on your chest.
- Pros: popular local hang
- Cons: long waiting lines

During our visit to Orlando, we visited this place because we saw the suggestion here in Citysearch. We enjoyed breakfast so much that we had to visit it a second time. The service was good, the food even better. The menu variety was good, the food was not greasy unlike other places. We are healthnuts, everything here was fresh, we tried eggs, omelettes, oatmeal, fruit, pancakes (granola - yum!). The place was clean, restrooms super clean, peaked into the kitchen which looked clean. Highly recommended! We're definitely coming back!
- Pros: healthful choices
- Cons: none
