Some people don't know how to enjoy themselves...

Dude, I don't know what the person below me is talking about, but Garibaldi's is freaking amazing!
I LOVE their outside dining! They have cute little trees bordering it so you don't feel so close to 436, and at night they turn on Christmas lights. My boyfriend and I actually brought my mom here not too long ago and they didn't have their lights on and they didn't realize it but someone had stolen their lights... so they brought out candles to all the tables! It was so sweet! They also have a fountain, and during lunch time there are pigeons all around it. (They are so adorable and they will eat tortilla chips out of your hand)! I definitely recommend this to couples and people who aren't in a hurry.
Also I have gone through their drive thru and I got my food in less that 5 minutes... So there's no need to call in a togo order anyways.
- Pros: Cozy atmosphere. Great prices for decent mexican food.

Never order to go, unless you want to eat it cold.

Having grown up in a Mexican household, I have a good taste for how Mexican food should taste like. This place is really doing things on the cheap.
I placed an order to go and was told the meal would be ready in 20 minutes. However when I arrived at about 15 minutes the meal was ready and the packaging looked great. Since everything was already wrapped up in plastic bag with a knot, I really did not bother to examine my food. My mistake.
As soon as I arrived home (15 minutes) nothing was still warm, everything was cold and the way the food was prepared looked as if had been sitting in somewhat of a buffet tray for several hours and just scooped in. Overall not satisfied, I rather wait a little longer and get fresh food than have the food ready in minutes and end up throwing most of it away.
Thankfully the Mexican restaurant competition is building up, and more choices are popping out. Try others before going to this place.

Not great at all!

Some people had told me about this place and was actually looking forward to eating here. I'm a native from Mexico and have grown up around the kitchen so I know what to look for and what it should taste like. I regret going so much. My boyfriend is not latin but has been to Mexico with me and even he was dissapointed. The service was gastly at most, they never returned to our table to ask how things were or if we needed anything. His tacos had no salsa or anything, just tortillas, meat, onions and cilantro. He wanted to ask for the hot salsa but started eating them after a while since they were getting cold from waiting for our waitress. My camarones a la diabla (spicy shrimp) tasted like shrimp in tomato sauce, at least put some bottled hot sauce on it for spice! It's in the freaking name for goodness sake, make it spicy! Never again will I go there. Looking into Taquitos Jalisco next time, I've gotten good review from there.

Great food, HUGE portions, and affordable price. I always go for the nacho supreme, it's enough for 3 people to share, and the enchiladas are as good as they come!

Am I Missing Something?

My wife and I visited this restaurant over the weekend based on how much we have enjoyed the Apopka restaurant of the same name. The place was not busy but service was very sub-par. We ordered our favorites from the Garibaldi we have gone to in Apopka for 5 plus years and were extremely disappointed. The steamed vegetables in my dish were cooked to mush, the chicken was bland, and the rice was undercooked. Both of our meals just lacked any kind of taste whatsoever. This place does not compare to the friendly and lively atmosphere found in the Apopka restaurant of the same name. Not worth the money and the location makes one feel that they are dining in the middle of an intersection.

Decent Restaurant

Went to this restaurant based on a 9.9 over all rating... I was expecting to be blown away, but was sadly disappointed. Now, I WOULD rate this above average, most of the food was good. I did LOVE the margarita, and the tamale and chili relleno. But have had MUCH better elsewhere. The place was packed, and the wait staff was friendly, but slower than I desire.
