The Scene

Located on the outskirts of College Park down from Ivanhoe Row, Rock & Roll Heaven is a one-of-a-kind music store that specializes almost exclusively in selling, buying and trading vinyl records. Claiming to posses more than one million records on site, this shop is the Holy Grail for those seeking rare and out-of-print rock, jazz, soul, punk, country and electronic recordings from the past half-century.

The Experience

Shopping at Rock & Roll Heaven is similar to going on a field trip back in musical time; dusty relics of decades past line the wall, including an old WDIZ license plate, a Fog Hat neon sign and hundreds of rock memorabilia items. The main room is filled with albums covering every genre imaginable, plus an adjacent room houses dance music, electronic oddities and punk/alternative rock selections.

One of the store's most amazing aspects is the separate room dedicated to film, theater and television soundtracks.
