Explore the world of science through interactive exhibits without ever looking through a microscope.
by Sandra Carr
In Short
Future scientists have an abundance of research data and wildlife for their educational training at this Orlando destination. The facility features an observatory where you can stargaze through Florida's largest public refractor telescope on weekend nights, an 8,000-square-foot domed screen for your Imax film-viewing pleasure and traveling displays throughout the year. Weddings, birthday parties and special events add to the venue's flavor.

The Science Center combines a wide variety of exhibits, things to do, and interesting displays with the Cinedome, which is fantastic.
- Pros: great price, great parking
Great for Kids

Loved this place. Had so many interactive things you could do. By far one of the best places you could bring the little ones to and help them (and yourself) learn a little bit more about science.
- Pros: Multilevel Exhibits, Parking
- Cons: Expensive
Really neat hands on activities

I took my nieces and nephew visiting from North Carolina to give them a break from the parks. They thought it was the greatest! They really enjoyed "Body Works" and the earthquake machine.
Great for Kids!

I took my six-year old son, and we spent about 4 hours there and still didn't get through the entire thing! The Cinedome is great (but a little loud). They have a kids play area (for the younger tikes), exhibits on gravity, measuring, sound waves, tornados, volcanoes, electricity - you name it - it's there!
- Pros: Good Parking, Great Value, Fun for Whole Family
- Cons: Food Expensive
