Unique Fine Dining Experience
by luv2bake
I went to Manuel's a couple of years ago, and I loved it. It is very highly priced, but the view is worth it. The staff was friendly & helpful. I know the food & the experience were both excellent, HOWEVER what is a must, is their lobster bisque. It is to DIE for. Since my Manuel's experience I have always tried to find a Lobster bisque as good as theirs and I still can't! Great dining experience yet pricy!
- Pros: The View & Lobster Bisque
- Cons: Price
Best Romantic and Best Service being AAA Four Diamond Award
by jmcarlson
From entry, to being greeted by a smiling eclectic face up to the 28th floor. The view over looking entire Central Florida by floor to ceiling windows was an awww. Upon seating was a knowledgable server complete with suggestions and excellence persistence. After recieving a great bottle of wine (with almost 300 different world class Grade A wines to choose from) was the suggested chefs brilliant appetizer for two. Followed entree's were the impeccable chilean sea bass as well the recommended lamb chops, incredible flavors. The best experience Orlando has to offer. Perfect for couples especially Birthdays and Anniversary's. Beautifull place, Thank you for the Perfect Experience. Will absolutly Return year after year!!!
- Pros: Service, Food, View
- Cons: Traffic
They ruined our 10th Anniversary Dinner.
by mrcqm
They ruined our anniversary dinner. Read on....
This was our 10th anniversary. We were specific about precisely what view we wanted. They ignored our reservation and did not hold open any tables anywhere near where we requested. We were offered a couple of complementary glasses of water in the waiting area to see if our view became available. We left after 40 minutes.
The manager made one attempt to contact us and left one voice mail. We called him back three times over a week and sent two e-mails -- NO REPLIES.
If you're looking for great food and a terrific setting but aren't picky about the details, Manuel's is great but terribly expensive. If you're looking for that extra personal touch to make your special night perfect, go elsewhere.
We used to love the place. Now we refuse to go back.
- Pros: unbeatable view, rare food (ostrich)
- Cons: they don't care, expensive
On The TOP of Orlando!
by torque9
anuels is an experience not just a destination. Manuels is located at the top of the Bank of America building with a commanding view of Downtown Orlando and beyond. Upon arriving at the restaurant youre immediately impressed by the floor the ceiling windows and the view that can be seen. The seating area was limited, but intimate, with plush window booths along every available window spot.
The menu is limited but the choices all seemed to be excellent. The food was excellently prepared and the presentation was phenomenal. The restaurant staff was attentive and professional with each guest. As the evening progressed the view went from a bright evening view of downtown Orlando, to view of downtown Orlando lit up at night.
If you are planning a memorable evening for a romantic dinner, company soiree, or a truly unique experience, Id highly recommend seeking out an evening at Manuels.
- Pros: View, Ambience, Service
- Cons: Parking
Magnificent food and a great view of downtown Orlando make this the ultimate special-occasion destination.

The Scene
Situated on the 28th floor of the Bank of America building in downtown Orlando, Manuel's provides a stunning view of the city lights and the surrounding counties. Patrons often celebrate birthdays and engagements here, so the noise level rises as the wine glasses empty.
The Food
Outstanding entrees include the potato-tiled Chilean sea bass, deliciously grilled and seasoned with lemon and basil. Smoked duck confit is fire-roasted with squash and served with balsamic syrup. The sweet and flaky apple torte or refreshingly tart blackberry sorbet provide a sweet send-off. For something more extravagant, opt for the flourless cabernet-chocolate torte, with fresh fruit coulis and berries.
- Pros: gorgeous view
- Cons: noisy
High Class

This is a must for any Orlando resident. It is well worth the price. I went here several years ago for a special occasion. The view is amazing, looking down on downtown Orlando. The service and food quality was superb. A great spot for an anniversary, proposal or other celebration.

My husband took me to dinner to Manuel's lastnight for our 10 wedding anniversary - it was SUPERB!! The service, food, ambience - everything was wonderful! The duck confit was devine - and so was the chilean sea bass - my husband had the veal chop and he loved it! Our night was so special - Manuel's is a sheer treat - worth every penny!!!
Absolutely Wonderful

I found this restaurant and took my husband for a surprise 35th birthday dinner. I asked for a table at the window so we could see the sun set. They said they could not make any promises but would note it. We did get our window seat and what a night. The service is outstanding. The food superb and with the fixed price menu we got all that for such a minimal price. We spent a hundred dollars more at Ruth's Chris and there is no comparison. Once the sun set and the candles were lit it was the most romantic evening we've ever had at a restaurant. Definately worth every penny and more!
- Pros: Not Crowded, Very Romantic
The food and view are outstanding!

First time there and I was impressed. The Prix Fixe menu was $55 not $45 dollars and includes a four couse meal (best value) and for another $20 you can get the wine paring with each course except dessert. The duck appetizer was excellent as well as the Lobster bisque soup, Filet mignon superb and for dessert the Lava Cake is a chocolate lovers dream. The view to the North on the 28th floor seemed the best. My $5 parking fee was reimbersed by my server. Would definitely go back!
- Pros: View, Outstanding food, Ambience
- Cons: none
