A REFRESHING EXPERIENCE

This is how a hair salon should be. Friendly and they actually care about your experience as a whole. This is a very up beat bunch. Attenton Zig Zigler and Brian Tracy! Your hair will be absolutely fantastic and if you are feeling blah or depressed a blast of their positive atmosphere will help. Prices are very fair, maybe even a little less then expected. I was actually left feeling like they were glad to have my business! Often companies act like they are doing you a favor when you do business with them. Not at Finer cuts. Do yourself a favor. Go here and see for yourself

Too expensive for such a bad style job

Normally in Orlando a relaxer and color costs around $120 and includes drying/styling afterwards. This salon charges that (plus), for just the relaxer and color, and if you want your hair styled (duh!) it's extra, for a total of $150! What's worse is that the styling I got for that extra was pretty awful, one of the worst I've ever had. They use great products that are good for your hair, and their salon is nice, and their stylists are nice, but for $150 you should walk out with a great hairstyle! I don't know why the other two African-American women who rated this salon rated them so highly, but (1) styling should not cost extra and (2) if it does cost extra then it should be worth every penny! And by the way, Karen was my stylist too.

I fly down from NYC to go here...

I am originally from Winter Park, FL but currently reside in NYC. Even though I am surrounded by very high-end salons here on every block, I make a point of saving my hair appointments for when I travel home to Florida. Judy and her crew are so friendly and professional, and after going to them for a few years, I refuse to change, because they know my hair best, and I always leave Finer Cuts very satisfied. The quality of their work is outstanding and the costs are very reasonable as well. My co-workers/friends up here always compliment my hair when I return back to the city and ask where I get my hair done. When I tell them it was done at a little gem in a shopping center in small town Winter Park, they are shocked. Needless to say, I would recommend this place to anyone. The salon also provides coffee and treats to everyone--a nice touch.

Karen at Finer Cuts

I am new to the area and it took me a long time to find a well-rounded hair stylist. As an African American woman, it is quite difficult to find a stylist that is not just experienced but comfortable with black hair. Karen at Finer Cuts is an exceptional hair stylist who provides quality service and uses top quality products such as Affirm relaxer by Avalon. Not only does she provide chemical treatments, but is a Color Specialist and has doing hair for over 20 years. In addition to Karen?s great service, Finer Cuts provide wine and cheese to all their customers. I give Karen and finer cuts five stars for excellence.

I am sold...THIS SALON ROCKS!!!!

I was at lunch a sports pub off of Aloma Ave Anyway, on my way out from lunch, I happen to look around and saw the sign for Finer Cuts Design Team.I walk in and the place was very nice and everyone was so friendly. Several of the help greeted me, and then I was helped by a lady named Lisa. She said "Can I help you?" She consulted me and the next thing I knew it, I was sitting in her chair. Lisa was FANTASTIC!!! I really enjoyed all her stories and most all, my hair looked so COOL!!! I was so happy about my experinece, I just wanted to share it with everyone. I highly recommend this Salon and don't forget to ask for Lisa, she was the BEST!!!!

Worst Haircut experience, will not go back

Yes the atmosphere was friendly but the haircut was the worst I have ever recieved. The Stylist did not listen to my requests and ended up giving me a haircut that was 4 inches shorter than what I requested, was uneven by 1 inch between the two side, and had a large chunk missing from the back of my head. Stylist was defensive and uncomprimising when it came to fixing the problems and the price I was charged. Overall I would not recommend this salon.

My Cry For Help!

I walked into this salon, and just had a question for any of the stylists there,Lisa was available to talk to me, I told her I had gone to my regular hairsylist and I think she was having a bad day. I explained that one side of my hair was carved in like a hole and the other side was left to long,Lisa referred to the hole as a SHARK BITE and I was so nervous to have anybody to even do anything to it and she really assured me that it was fixable, with that, she took me back washed and conditioned my hair and started cutting and texurizing and at that point i said to myself this girl knows what she's doing , she dryed it then continued cutting here and there, and when she finished, I just had to hug this girl! Lisa thank you so much for fixing my SHARK BITE!!!!!

Finer Cuts Salon is the best salon in the area of Wnterpark. I had a great service, great hair and met wonderful people. Their staff is so friendly and makes you feel like you are QUEEN for the day. The place is newly renovated and very clean. It is a family orientated salon and they treat their clients like family too. I get my hair done every four weeks, and every time i go is a diffrent style. Every body should give Finer Cuts a try you want be disspointed.
