Beyond Belief!!

Tijuana Flats is by far one of the best mex places to eat! i'm mexican and i know mexican food and tijuana flats has great food! i love their burritos and tacos! and the hot sauces are amazing!!! simply but i would definetly recommend eating here.

• Pros: Quick delicious food! Absolutely great service!
• Cons: does get crowed during lunch hours!

We like this place a lot. I am not going to tell you it is just like Mexico because we have only been their one time. Everything here looks and tastes fresh! None of that under hot lights out back stuff. Good for kids and family.

• Pros: Plenty of parking most of the time
• Cons: Can get crowded at lunch.

The best fast tex-mex in the Central Florida Area

Wow, I can't believe some people get so upset over "human error". Most of the employees are young, energetic, outgoing people who are trying their best to please, cut them some slack. So what if your order gets s***ed up once in awhile....my entire family and their spouses and my grand daughter all love Tijuana Flats. The food is always fresh and hot and it is served with a personal touch and a smile. Where else can you get this for a great price. We eat there 2 to 3 times a week, guess you could say we're true Tijuana fans. So s**ck your a** on over to one of their many convienent locations and try it, I bet you'll like it!!!!!!

• Pros: Quick, cheap, happy servers, many locations, great hot sauces....
• Cons: Once in awhile the kitchen or computer terminal may skip a beat...oh well.

Amazing...truly amazing.

Well, I'm disappointed to see so many negative comments. I for one, found the resturant to have amazing food. The beef and/or chicken burrito is what I usually get. Great food, and not too expensive. The hotsauce bar is always fun...I haven't gotten the courage to try the REALLY hot stuff, but it's fun choosing different ones to try with your food. Salsa and chips are the best I have ever had at a Mexican resturant, and crushed ice truly DOES take me to my happy place. Recommended for all ages if you're in need for a cheap, quick, Mexican meal.

The Scene
Inspired by pub crawling during his days at UF and UCF, Brian Wheeler borrowed $20,000 from his father to create a college-town eatery for the Orlando area. This first outlet on University spawned the growing chain that features small tables inside and out on the sidewalk, flaming phantasmagoric images on the walls and runners who deliver orders by calling out first names.

The Food
It's fast Tex-Mex without lard or heat lamps. Burritos come in regular and hearty Tijuana size. Choose the stuffing: mildly spiced ground beef, chicken, bean, or a mix, wrapped with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, jalapenos and sour cream. For a lighter meal, try chicken quesadillas, blackened for the most flavor. Skip mediocre chili. Tijuana Flats innovations include blue tortilla cups for sides of salsa and a hot-sauce bar dispensers with concoctions like Chickens**t, a fire and mustard combo, and Thai sweet chili. Heed the labels.

Better than Moe's or Chipotle

This place rocks! It blows away everyone else. Their food is better than anyone elses and so are their hot sauces. It's inexpensive and the ambience is fresh and lively. It's a cool place to hang out.

THE BEST TEX-MEX I HAVE EVER HAD!!! TACOS ARE LARGER THAN ANY I HAVE EVER HAD AND THE CHIMICHANGAS ARE AWESOME. I HAVE BEEN GOING TO THE FLATS SINCE THEY HAD ONE LOCATION, NOW OVER 15 AND I KNOW WHY-AWESOME FOOD AND SERVICE.

Cool, Yummy Place

This is a place I frequent for lunch. I usually have the steak burrito and have to admit I haven't tried much else. The food has always been excelent, the service is dependant on how full the place is and the atmosphere is fun. I have to suggest getting a side of chips and salsa and/or queso. They're delicious and usually they'll give a refill to take home.

Roll me a fat one! Great food!

Good food, good times. Kids love it! Everything is fresh as they have no freezer. Friendly service. Better than any of the "canned" mexican sit down restaurants like Chevy's, Don Pucklos or Amigos. PR's is okay, but too noisy & too crowded, and not always kid friendly, besides not being able to park!

I wish ther were more Tijuana's around, they are fast, easy, cheap and fun! Great concept.
