Labeling this unassuming grocery eatery as simply "veggie" is to miss much of what it has to offer.

This healthfood store/cafe serves up healthy, inventive and tasty fare (including some meat, poultry and fish dishes) from a rotating recipe-bank of more than 500 selections.The Cafe offers a variety of vegetarian, vegan, macrobiotic and organic meals; regular menu items include sandwiches, salads, pizzas, soups and sides, with an entree hot bar added for lunch and dinner. Cafe patrons can assemble their own salads from an extensive, all-organic salad bar or order salads. Pizzas are made with either organic mozzarella or rice cheese on sourdough-wheat or sun dried-tomato crusts. In addition, Chamberlin's organic Smoothie, Juice and Java Bar offers thirst-quenchers such as organic, fresh-squeezed juices, herb-infused organic sports tea, and smoothies with add-in ingredients like aloe juice, flax oil, nutritional yeast and ginkgo.
