Good tex-mex--
by joshen1101 at Citysearch
I love good TexMex and that is hard to find in Orlando. The restaurant is a little hole in the wall kind of place. and there are actually holes in the wall. Nothing remotely fancy here. Ok, it's a dump. But the mole sauce is worth the trip alone. It is perfect. The service is always friendly but they tend to be a little short staffed when the place is busy. So bring some patience if it's busy cause you'll need it. I've sampled lot's of items and have enjoyed most everything. If TexMex is your thing you might wanna try PR's.
- Pros: good texmex: love the mole sauce
- Cons: the place is a dump-- like in Mexico, lol
Service good but food couldn't be dryer.

I went there a few times with friends. The first time it was pretty good. The second time they messed up on my order and gave me a chicken burrito instead of shredded meat with nothing to swallow it down with. Had to ask for sour cream. Another time the take out order had NO sour cream or anything just a dry taco I could have ordered the same at Taco Bell because Taco Bell's taco's have more favor. The third and last time my partner decided it was a brillant idea to flirt with the barmaid behind the bar. He said something about body enhancements and she grabbed her top and bottom. Showed no class and the chips were stale.
- Pros: Salsa good
- Cons: Everything else on the menu dry
Don't waste your time.

Horrible. Food, Service, Crowd. I went expecting a great party and good food. I was sadly mistaken. Drunk idiots draped every were. I don't think any server there actually knows what the are doing. The whole staff is drunk, including the managment. The food was not good. You would think mixing Winter Park snobs, idiot college kids, and blue collar potheads would be fun and exciting; awful. Don't waste your time.
- Pros: Leaving
- Cons: PR's
You've got to embrace grunge to truly experiences PR's "taco palace."

In Short
The exterior resembles a roadside shack and the interior doesn't do much to improve much upon first impressions--chairs vibrate with the passing trains and the decor could be generously described as "early pool hall." Parking is tough during peak times, particularly due to its location--between railroad tracks and a busy intersection on Fairbanks. Once inside skip the appetizers and indulge in warm, home-made tortilla chips and spicy, chunky salsa. Fajitas sizzle, and the black and white enchiladas leap off the plate. The pollo fondido, similar to a chimichanga, comes packed with beef or chicken and topped with cheese, a spicy red sauce and sour cream.
Worst Mexican Food Ever
by sabina528 at Citysearch
After finding this restaurant from City Search, my husband and I decided to try it. First, the restaurant is a nasty looking hole in the wall. When we walked in the place was crowded and the hostess/server sat us in the back corner at a two top table. So far, I still had hopes for this place even though it looked nasty.
The walls are covered with hand-written notes from past patrons. On the ceiling, I noticed some profanity and a drawing of a fist flipping the bird. The waitress took a while before she took our order. Since the place was crowded, it didn't bother me that much. When our orders were finally taken I ordered a taco and a tostada, and my husband ordered a taco salad.
The salsa was really good. Unfortunately, that is the only compliment I can give this restaurant. When my food was delivered, I had no utensils and the server ran away before I could catch her. I waited and waited and was finally able to flag down my waitress and when she returned, she slapped them on the table and ran. By this time, my husband was halfway done with his taco salad.
The black beans that I had ordered were overcooked, dried out, and somewhat crunchy. The taco beef was completely tasteless, including my husbands taco salad. It tasted as if the cook browned some ground beef and threw it in our food. No seasoning or real Mexican spices were added, so my question is, other than serving some salsa and having Mexican style food on the menu, how can this really be a Mexican restaurant?
When the waitress returned to clear our plates, I had barely eaten anything off my plate and she didnt even bother to ask me if everything was okay. She brought our bill and I promptly handed her back my credit card. After about 10 minutes she still had not returned and I was beginning to wonder if she ran off to make some purchases on E-bay. Finally she came back after what felt like forever and we were able get out of that awful dump.
- Pros: Good Salsa
- Cons: Service terrible, food even worse!
Fun Times

Considering this bar has attracted me back for more fun for the past five years, I highly recommend this place to anybody looking for a good time. If you're nice to the waitresses, they're nice to you. If you act like a bitch, so will they. It's a fun place to be, you just must be patient every now and then. The PR's in Winter Park is MUCH better than the one in Lake Mary. Definately worth the drive.
- Pros: Cheap, TEQUILA, pretty hot waitresses
- Cons: no parking

With reservations for a party of 20 in the Lake Mary store we were at two completely different tables. We arrived right at noon, seated promptly, and hardly saw our waitress after that. After numerous complaints that the food was taking too long, no manager in sight, we finally got our food 55 minutes after we walked in, 35 minutes after our other table, who had three people served and then ten minutes later the rest at that table were served. Horrible service - would not go back for anything.
- Pros: fast seating
- Cons: separate tables, snail-like service, food was COLD
Mexican - not... but good Tex Mex
by margona at Citysearch
I agree with an earlier reviewer... not authentic Mexican. You'll have to find that at a local Taqueria or other place frequented by Mexican nationals. But, for a Tex Mex kind of dinner, this was suprisingly good. The margueritas were good, cheap and potent. The food was tasty and spicy. Go straight for the steak fajitas or chicken diablo (spicy)... the plates were full of food, hot, and spicy. I must confess that I took one look at the place and thought the Sub shop next door might be safer. The staff was busy, but friendly and happy to serve...I was quite happy with all.. we stopped hungry, cold and wet and came out warm and with a happy buzz :-)
- Pros: inexpensive drinks, good food
- Cons: more a cantina
the worst Mexican food I have ever had in my life

Taco Bell gets 5 stars compared to this.
Vile and repugnant with apathetic servers.
- Pros: indoor plumbing
- Cons: many
Magnificent Mexican

Great mexican food for a good price, service was fair. Kitschy interior design belies the quality of the food.
