Great Atmosphere! by A T. at InsiderPages

This lounge has walls covered with eclectic movies and a great menu with alot of variety. Their beer selection is nice for a smaller establishment. All in all this is the perfect place to hang out with friends, or to study for some classes.
An urban coffeehouse in the heart of Audubon Park.
by Sandra Carr at Citysearch
Grab a cup of Joe from an urban coffeehouse in the heart of Audubon Park. Bohemians and hipsters drink a cup of tea or coffee at this eclectic java and video rental combo. The venue is separated in three sections and each has its own vibe. The counter area features pastries in a glass cabinet along with hanging chalkboards with the menu written in chalk. Patrons meander into one room where a red tinsel curtain hangs near a stage and framed photos adorn the walls. The main room has a cafeteria-style setting with an unstained wooden bar with bottles of wine, libations and imported beer selections amongst a hodgepodge of stools, signs and pictures.
Orlando needs more places like Stardust
by snolack at Citysearch
Since we moved to Orlando, we've been slowly discovering cool little place like Stardust. Dandelion, Drunken Monkey, White Wolf all fall in the same category, but Stardust also has a pretty decent collection of books and independent/foreign films. The food was quite good and if you like beer, you will definitely find something for you. Places like Stardust help create neighborhoods and gives us hope that there's more to Orlando than amusement parks.
Coffee & Movies! YAY!
by sayanythinggirlie at Citysearch
Coffee and Movies, what a great combination! Two of my favorite things in one place. My sister took me to Stardust one night to rent movies. There is such a diverse movie selection! I love it. There's a bunch of indie films[which i absolutely adore]. The coffee there is also fabulous. When we were there I was also exposed to a wonderful band[which name escapes me..]. It's just a fun place to be.
- Pros: fabulous movie selection. great coffee.
- Cons: nothing comes to mind..

Mario Bava and a cup of java *yikes*
by clunkygirl at Citysearch
Ahh, wonderful Stardust with your rows of velcroed documentaries, sleepers, foreign and guilty pleasure horror - how I love you! Certainly there is not a better cup of coffee in all of Orlando and for those who are embibers of the fermented they have some of the best ales around. Also, if you are like me then you probably like an accompaniment to your drink and they have some of the freshest sandwiches and salads, many are or are easily made vegetarian and vegan - a welcome find. Watch for poetry and live music some nights.
Get your java fix while perusing a waaaaay cool video/DVD collection.

The Scene
Mellow, laid-back and a tad Bohemian. The store is divided into three sections--a cozy reading room with tables, sofas and all sorts of publications catering to the illuminati (The Paris Review, Harper's etc.); the central hub of commerce where patrons order coffee and pay for/return videos; and the library housing an impressive array of movie gems.
The Collection
Everything from art house to mainsteam to hard-to-find to just plain odd. Stardust makes it easy for patrons to find what they're looking for, sorting movie titles by country, director and genre. In the mood for Pasolini? Head over to the Italian section and pick up Salo; Herzog? The German wall carries a copy of Fitzcarraldo. Godard, Truffaut, Kurosawa, Kubrick, Bergman, Altman ... they got it all. And don't hesitate to ask the staff for a recommendation--they're well-schooled in film and can help you find that flick you've been meaning to see, but whose title you can't quite recall.
The Joe
You wouldn't expect a video store to make a great cup of coffee, but they take coffee-brewing seriously here. The Americano, espresso, cappuccino, mocha, latte and cafe au lait are all expertly prepared.
The Crowd
True film buffs, Birkenstock-wearing hipsters and Green Party supporters.
Joe Meets Orlando

and way better than meeting the volcano! Having lived in this community for quite some time, I used to frequent Stardust a lot. Some things have changed; the magazines are gone; and the wall of shame has been erased. However, the heart and soul still thrive inside. The best coffee I ever had was in a college town in Athens, Ohio until I stumbled into Stardust many years ago. The Cafe Mocha here is the best. Unfortunately, due to a heart condition I shouldnt have caffeine anymore, but I still sneak in one every couple of months. My girlfriend isnt a coffee drinker, but enjoys the teas here. I wouldnt say that I fit the mold of a typical patron, me in my Volvo S80 and Tommy shorts but the people dont seemed to mind. They just started serving food, but I havent tried anything yet.
- Pros: Best Coffee, Relaxful
The Best in Town
by rosewood at Citysearch
The coffee is good, but the videos the star of the show. I have never seen a video store with such a large and diverse collection- imagine a small room filled with French videos- and one for Spanish- videos from Eastern Europe!! This is a must see for any videophile.
- Pros: videos, coffee, biscotti
- Cons: coffee a bit pricey
