Great food esp. chicken and fish, fantastic green beans, in a diner setting
by apollonysius
When I boasted to my brother, an attorney living in Manhattan, how Orlando had some great restaurants, he was quite skeptical. After a meal at Cypriana, he grudgingly admitted that yes, there really was good food outside the five boroughs. All the dishes I've tried at Cypriana have been excellent or superb: really delicious. Their fish and chicken dishes are particularly good, which is unusual for a Greek restaurant. They have the best green beans in the world; the garlic potatoes are tasty too. Ambiance, however, is lacking, despite the neat tile floor. It used to be a diner; it shows. Service was good, then spotty, then the owner came and chewed everyone out. Now the service is good again.
- Pros: The food! Exquisite!
- Cons: The ambiance! Almost makes you want to ask for fries.

the service was slow and the people made me feel like i was in another country and i didnt deserve to be eating their food. i love all kinds of food from around the world, and greek cuisine is one of my favorites. these people were cold to my girlfriend and i and when my order was wrong they made me feel like it was my fault.
- Pros: cheap
- Cons: unfriendly
Don't bother!

This has to be the worse Greek food I have ever tried. Maybe it was just a bad day; but it was so bad, I don't think I have the courage to try it again. The atmosphere was comparible to the food pricing and that was fine but the Chef with her torn tshirt was a bit repulsive. The Food was terrible....I am not a fan of canned green beans.
- Pros: cheap
- Cons: bad food
Authentic Greek cuisine

Cypriana is a small, family-owned Greek restaurant that serves authentic Greek food at reasonable prices with excellent service. Although the restaurant can feel a little cramped during the lunch and dinner rush (reservations recommended for dinner), the food is excellent, and the service is generally very good.
- Pros: Reasonably priced, Excellent food
- Cons: Can be crowded
