Horrible management

Besides the fact that Antigua is overcrowded with old and ugly people and your costantly being pushed and shoved, the bouncers are rude. One bouncer actually was giving my best friend the finger and he was cursing her out, for no reason!!!! My friend was trying to help him, he told me that i couldnt sit on the stage but Icouldnt hear him, so my friend came out to me and said "get off u cant sit on the stage, u can only lean like everyone else"...Then this morbidly obease bouncer starts cursing here out for no reason!!!!!! We went to management an he acted like he didn't even care... Honestly there are way better clubs downtown like Firestone, Tabu, even Element is better...So whatever you do dont go to Antigua.
- Pros: the hiphop music
- Cons: Bouncer's are rude..overcrowded

Antigua Nightclub is one of those clubs that don't care about their guest but only getting their money. The music was bad and the bouncers where inconsideret. I bought a party of 40 people there one night and we command the whole club. Do you think they realize that? NO. We were the only ones buying drinks besides some of the bouncers getting drunk as well ( oh by the way the bartenders we great). I will never suggest this club to anyone. The drink specials was a joke and the DJ didn't want to play good music. The only thing that was good about this club was that ladies were free and it is next to 3 other clubs that were better to us. Yeeey Dragon Club!!
- Pros: Near other clubs, ladies free
- Cons: bad DJ, drunk bouncers, money hungry

Overall had a good time, music was great with a different variety to change it up. Pretty easy to let lose there and have an enjoyable night. Service from the bartenders was horrible. Worst service I had ever experienced. They were really slow even on a slow night, very rude too. A couple and a single guy were in front of us before we placed our order. The couple had said they've been waiting for at least 20 minutes when we asked them. They didn't stick around to say the least. The guy had purchased his drinks and left one dollar in change for his tip. I'm a pretty good tipper when it comes to going out to eat and buying drinks I was a server so I know the ropes. But the chick was so rude and waiting there for 40 minutes just to get a couple of drinks was ridiculous. In my opinion rude service doesn't deserve even a dollar in change from me!
- Pros: Great Atmosphere
- Cons: Horrible bartenders
Nice Atmosphere

The club had fairly good music and the atmosphere was fun and trendy. There is also a text messaging screen on one of the walls so if you get bored, or just want to amuse yourself, you could always text to the entire club. Overall though, its a good time
Best club on Church Street

I love Antigua. For that matter I hate most clubs but there's 'just something' about Antigua that makes me love it.
The prices are crazy if your under 21 but what can ya do? Staff is friendly and the atmosphere has a good vibe. I feel bad for the fish though...arent they scared of loud noise and lights? Not to mention the smoke? PETA!
The dance floor is brilliant and the music doesnt suck as bad as most clubs...the 80s night rocks for that reason (and I hate 80s music!)
However its always crowded beyond belief but there's usually good looking people worthy of some convo so it balances out. Bathroom lines suck though!
- Pros: Good music, Great dancefloor, Good people
- Cons: Too crowded, Fish abuse, Too smokey
Church Street club employs Disney-like ambience for its upscale touches.

In Short
Situated in downtown on Church Street--and owned by the same management as next-door-neighbor Chiller's--Antigua strives for a sophisticated nightlife experience in an area known more for touristy bars. The club is fashioned with a resort theme throughout and includes a second-story "Antigua Resort & Club." There's a large main bar and three satellite boozing areas. The tropical fish tank located on the main dance floor is Antigua's signature visual element.

I went to Anitgua for the first time on last friday night. I had a blast. That night my roommate and I went to a bunch of clubs because neither one of us had been to any clubs downtown before that night. So we wanted to explore. Most of the other clubs were no fun at all. We went to Antigua last and we had a blast. Neither one of us is the type to dance much but we were both out there dancing before the nught was even half way over. We met some pretty cool people and the people who work there were really friendly. With the exception of one really drunk guy everyone there was cool.
- Pros: fun, relaxed, great people
- Cons: crowded

Thursday is the best night to go to Antigua. Its college night, but the vibe is perfect for my girlfreinds and I, who seem to never pay for a drink. Alot of hot boys and girls grinding to the DJs perfect selection of music. I LOVE Thursdays at Antigua. Oh, dont go to early
- Pros: Music is da bomb!, VIP, Hot boys(and girls)
- Cons: long lines to get in, dead till 11.
