An elaborate, mesmerizing celebration of the carnival spirit.

The Highlights
This lavish, colorful carnival show--set in an enormous modern amphitheater--uses an energetic mix of amazing acrobatics, audience participation, pageantry, costumes and singing to tell the story of its namesake movie. Songs from the "Lion King" get sung repeatedly--some may experience a certain "It's a Small World" effect by show's end. Regardless, the production offers loads of fun for the whole family. Easily the best show in the park.
The Wait
Be warned: The show is immensely popular, and lines often spill out over the main walkways of Camp Mickey-Minnie, particularly during peak season. To avoid frustration, try hitting it first thing in the morning or aim for one of the final two shows.
Terrific Entertainment

The Festival of the Lion King is the best show in all of Disney - enough said.
Catch a speed pass for one of the other attractions and then head on over to the early show at 10:00am.
It's the best way to start your day at Animal Kingdom.
The show's music and presentation are terrific and the stage performers are very good.
- Cons: Crowded, Ventilation
