Full-flavored fabulous food

A fun, upscale restaurant with aggressive, delicious flavors in the food. Impressive attention to detail in the preparation/presentation of the food as well as in traditional formalities of service that some otherwise good restaurants often neglect. Service overall was top-notch, with a pleasant touch of having everyone's food at the table being served simultaneously by multiple waiters. A bland and unassuming decor was the only slight disappointment (some might call it trendy - or maybe it's just a stark contrast to the food being served). There are, however, good views of the kitchen. Highly recommended.

No Free Refills

My experience at emeril's left me wanting more!!!! The food was to die for the service was impeccable and the ambiance was great. The one thing that kind of took me back was the fact that I had to pay for refills of soda! First off it was served in a narrow hi ball glass full of ice. Secondly I feel I was over charged for it. If I am going to pay $100.00 for a meal, "Bam" throw in some free refills. All in all emeril's is great!

Simply Terrific

We celebrate 2 birthdays a year at Emerils. The food is always done to perfection. Try the pork chops. Almost 2 inches thick and well worth it. Also the chocolate souffle. Remember to order the desert before dinner. It is made to order. We will continue our tradition. Its worth the wait. Make reservations. You need at least 2 months ahead for the weekends

Tasty but over-rated

Stopped by during a recent visit to Orlando and while the food was decent, was a bit dissapointed. Perhaps the food was simplified for the tourist crowd at Universal Studios but there was no Bam in the flavor. Also noise and neon lights from nearby CityWalk bars were a distraction. A decent choice in Orlando but there must be better...

Your Dinging Journey Begins Here

Emerils offers great food at expected prices. There are soooo many good items to eat on the menu. I must recommend the fresh Stacked Salad. It is faboulous. If you like spicy shrimp, try the BBQ shrimp. There is something on the menu to please everyones taste buds. The only negative comment is the reservations! WOW, At least 3 months will suffice, even then that was limited.

A huge disappointment in dining.

I was looking forward to dining at this restaurant, but was very disappointed with the experience. The food was good (not great) but there's not much choice for vegans or vegetarians, which surprised me. The prices are on the expensive side, especially when considering the available limited choices and quality. The most disappointing feature was the staff whom I found to be very aloof, slow and non-attentive. Bookings are essential for this restaurant, although I will never bother frequenting this establishment again. The lack of ambience, poor staff with big attitudes, and the lack of gastronomic choices will ensure that I never dine here again.

Twice Emeril's deceived me

My friend and I were talked into getting the "Degustation platter". We were told that we both must get the meal. Since it said $60 and all of the other meals were about $30, we figured the $60 was a meal for two. Wrong.

3 years later (it now says $60 per person) I made plans to take my girlfriend out for her birthday and invited my parents. When I made the reservation I was asked how many people are celebrating birthdays. I told her 2 people (dad too) and was told they would get the dessert of their choice. When we got dessert, they came and sang, but I still got charged for both desserts. When I said they were supposed to be complimentary, I was asked if I remember the name of the gal I made reservations with. I never have these problems at other restaurants.

• Cons: The are deceptive, food is overpriced, staff is snooty
