Very very disappointing
by trace97tj at Citysearch
We made reservations 6 mos. in advance, and still had to wait 45 minutes to be seated. Staff was horrible, from manager on down to the busboy. We barely saw the waiter, and the busboy spilled ketchup all over me and my son's diaper bag. No one apologized, and I got a trash bag to take out my diaper bag in. We had to fly home with a ketchup covered diaper bag in the suitcase. We will not be back to overpay for bad service, I don't care how good the meal was!
- Pros: Good food, Good wine list
- Cons: Staff, Limited menu
28th anniversary dinner
by richardcrogers at Citysearch
We had salads, pork chop for the missus, fish du jour for me. $85 bottle of red wine was served chilled. Overall, a better choice for the money and atmosphere would have been Fleming's. Was expecting the "wham" of Cajun inspired cooking, received at best mediocre over-priced food at best.
- Pros: Seating w/reservation
- Cons: Expensive, Food expectation
Great Experience!
by judogirl at Citysearch
We celebrated my husband's birthday at Emeril's and the service was excellent. We were seated in the patio area so noise wasn't an issue. We thought the food would be fattening because of the way Emeril cooks on his show but actually it wasn't. There's alot of seafood items on the menu. The Banana Cream pie was excellent! Reservations are definitely recommended. We saw them turn away guests w/o reservations. They say long sleeves are recommended for men but we saw many men w/ short sleeves and shorts!
- Pros: service, food
- Cons: parking, price
Universals best lunch
by rlewellyn at Citysearch
Disappointing for dinner, loud, crowded, rushed but GREAT at lunch! Keep in mind, though a good experience for kids, soda refills are pricey, if your child is not an adventuresome little gourmand, get a burger
- Pros: food, service, lunch
- Cons: , crowded, food court atmosphere

Best Place in Orlando !!!!!!!!!!
by jlanza29 at Citysearch
This is what a restaurant should be like. The food awesome, the service impecable, the price's right, and ideal location. Can't wait to have my very own Emeril's in Miami (The Loews Hotel, opening Nov.)
This is the place to eat in the Orlando are...no questions asked !!!!
- Pros: Excellent Service, Food is outrageous, Great wine list
- Cons: parking
Acoustics
by lkate at Citysearch
Five women could not yell loud enough to be heard over the din. They need to do something to absorb sound so that people can talk to each other. Not a good place for a romantic dinner unless you are just into staring in each other's eyes.
- Pros: Excellent service, location, parking
- Cons: Noise level, Prices, Too much food
One of the best in Central FL!

I've eaten here at least 10 times over the past four years... Each time, with the exception of one, it has gotten better! Like many popular restaurant's in NYC (where I used to live), you have to know how to get a table, and what to order! Reservations are impossible to get for a w/e less than 30 days out... PLAN AHEAD. (or, call on the day you would like to dine at 3 SHARP!). They release "unconfirmed" reservations at that time. Other than that, food, service and drinks are great! They change the menu seasonally, so it keeps us "locals" interested! Can't wait to try the new Emeril-owned "Tchoup-Chop" nearby!
- Pros: YUMMY!, GREAT DRINKS, FUN ATMOSHPHERE
- Cons: EXPENSIVE, HARD TO GET RESV., CAN BE SNOOTY
Best food/servivce on Int'l Drive
by diner_mark at Citysearch
By far, the best food and service in the International Drive/Universal Studios area. Reservations strongly recommended at least 30 days out to get your date. We didn't, so we walked in and got a late lunch at 2:30 on a Wednesday. Very high praise for the attentative and knowledgeable waitstaff. The food lives up to it's billing. Yes, it's that good! We had the Pecan crusted redfish & the pan roasted salmon, both cooked/served/presented beautifully. A place for true culinary delights. Unless you are already in Universal Studios, it will cost $8 to park. Ouch.
- Pros: service, food, smooth operation
- Cons: very busy, expensive, pay to park
Add $8 for Parking!
by aesingleton at Citysearch
After paying $8 for parking and walking for 15 minutes from the parking lot, we were told that we had to eat in the bar because we didn't have reservations. Our experience improved with the good service and presentation of our food. The salad was decent. I would not order the seafood cheesecake again. It was bland and had too much cheese, too little seafood. The Gumbo, however, was to die for. Overall it was a decent meal, but I would not make another special trip--only if visiting the theme park.
- Pros: Excellent gumbo, Nice waitstaff
- Cons: Costly remote parkg, Must have reservation, no valet
