Best theme park EVER!
by angel4711
I live near Tampa, but wouldn't go to Busch Gardens if someone gave me a free ticket. I'd pass up any other park to be able to go to Universal Studios in Orlando, FL! I LOVE that place! I love the original park with the Men in Black ride, the Mummy rollercoaster, the Jurassic Park water ride, and all of the others! I also love Islands of Adventure park with the Marvel comics rides, even though I'm not into comic book characters at all. I finally went on Doctor Doom's Fearfall and LOVED it! It scares me to death, but I love it! I even get kinda sick on rollercoasters, so I don't do on The Hulk (people who are kinda big around can't fit on that ride, too, which I don't like because I could go on all of the other rides). I liked Spiderman and the other rides, too. Halloween Horror Nights is the BEST! Even if I don't get there all year, I'll be sure to get to Halloween Horror nights every year! I LOVE THIS PLACE!
- Pros: Awesome rides, great scenery, lots to do!
- Cons: VERY high-priced food, 30 minute food lines
Experience the wonder of movie making with an array of fun, interactive adventures.

In Short
Enter the theme park through giant iron gates and be immediately transported onto Hollywood Boulevard and Rodeo Drive, the trendiest spots in Los Angeles. A plethora of shops, patio cafes jutting out from every storefront, and swarms of people abound. It's magical and authentic, not unlike the Magic Kingdom's Main Street, U.S.A. From this point on, choose one of the park's six thrill-packed areas: Production, New York, San Francisco/Amity, World Expo, Woody Woodpecker's Kidzone.
Orlando Beer Festival at CityWalk=waist of money
by cgsam2
THIRSTY? After attending the 7th Annual Orlando Beer Festival, I am definitely still thirsty. This is due to the fact that there were twice as many people in attendance and half as many vendors providing beer samples.
The lines were ridiculously long, the venders were few and far between, and you had to buy a beer while waiting in a line to sample the beer provided by the festival. It took 45 minutes in a line to get 2 oz. of beer! I complained to guest services and told that all sales are final. My final sale was a $33 plastic cup and 4 oz. of beer.
It was AWFUL! I will never attend the Orlando Beer Festival again. Obviously, the people responsible are not interested in satisfying their customers.
- Cons: long lines, rude staff
Awesome Park
by plaurel
The rollercoasters & 3D rides are so thrilling that words cannot describe how awesome they are. So much to look at and do for the whole family. Staying at the beautiful on site hotel gives you front of the line for all the rides and walking distance to the parks and City Walk.
- Pros: clean, thrilling rides
- Cons: addicting
Great Rides, Little Atmosphere
by rlalf
The Universal Studios designers certainly got one thing right--the rides. Too bad they didn't realize that theme parks are more than just rides. We bought the 5 days for the price of 2 for our family of 5. Only 2 of us (my older son and I) even came back for the 2nd day. Wasted $120. It was a bargain though since we all had such a great time at Walt Disney World.
- Pros: Rides
- Cons: Crowds, Lines, Theme??
Awesome!

Ever since going to Universal the first time I have loved it, my favorite ride is ET. There is more than enough to last a full day, even a full weekend. I think the best deal for visitors is to get the 2 day park hop ticket.
- Pros: Park Hop Tickets
Yawn

I thought this park was overrated. Maybe I should have went here before I went to any Disney parks. I mean Epcot was more exciting than Universal Studios. I thought it was very boring.
- Pros: parking, men in black
- Cons: boring, boring, twister

We purchased the 2 year passes, & therefore spend a LOT of time here !!
The park is clean. The facilities are plentiful & also clean and the staff are very knowledgeable about the park & are very helpful.
The park has something for every age. The shows, street performances & rides are well set up & so much fun.
Whilst visiting, you also learn much of the magic of movie making.
Disney, eat your heart out, Universal is THE place to go!!
