The lobby has an internet terminal which is nice. There's a lounge/bar attached to the inn that is pretty fun. It has a regular duo lounge act that are pretty fun.

This hotel is right on Orlando Avenue, north of town in the Winter Park neighborhood - super convenient in my case as I had business in the area. Right across the street is a very nice restaurant called Hillstone. The hotel is laid out in typical roadside motel-style from the old days and has plenty of (free!) parking. Also free is the Wi-Fi. The rooms all open to an open hallway, or an inner courtyard with a pool, and are decked out with standard stuff. The bed was OK, although the lumpy pillows were substandard. There is a bar/restaurant with live music in the evening that seems popular with the locals of the more mature contingent. All in all it's a very pleasant place, nothing wrong with it, but also you must realize it's not a super deluxe place. If you want those, go downtown and pay through the nose for parking, WiFi, etc. So that's why I choose Mt. Vernon Inn, and will keep coming back.

My stay at this hotel was enjoyable. The guest service associates were friendly and helpful. The lobby was clean and full of site seeing information to make my visit to Fl. a little more enjoyable.

We ended up at this hotel after "escaping" Disney. We had been at one of the resorts, and were unceremoniously crowded out by a huge convention. We did a quick internet search and ended up here. It is older, but extremely clean and comfortable, and half the price of the Disney "experience." The staff was friendly and helpful. It is centrally located in Winter Park, just a few blocks from the chic shopping and dining district, and near plenty of other restaurants and stores. It is a large hotel, with a couple of buildings. Our room was in the rear of a back building and it was blissfully quiet. No noisy air conditioner! For some reason, breakfast was not offered in the restaurant, though it was advertised. It would have been convenient.

I have stayed at this property many times over the past 6 years and the service has always been OUTSTANDING!! Great attitude's from all the staff, as well as consistently clean rooms and working amenities. It's always a pleasure to visit the Best Western Mt. Vernon Inn!

In Winter Park for a family wedding at the Civic Center next door to this hotel. Room was large, clean, comfortable and the bed slept well. Breakfast was good, but overpriced - but this is Orlando/Disney territory, so I shouldn't have been surprised. Evening poolside bar service was also good. Overall, a good place to stay if you're not looking to be spoiled.
