Way over priced & Quality only so-so.
We really had high hopes for this place as it looked so cute on the outside & the menu "sounded" great. I got the salmon burger ($9) that tasted like it was made with canned salmon & A LOT of filler. My friend got the Fish & Chips ($14) that was only so-so, & was a small portion & the fries were waay over seasoned.
The service was lacking. We sat outside & it was very slow for business so I would have hoped for the waitress to have had time to come out & ask if our food was okay. She did for other tables, just not ours. We're not going back. We're going to continue going to Boston's Fish House!!
rustic except for the price.
It was just OK.
I had such great hopes since it looks like the type of Fish House that you would find on the bay. That quiet little inlet with the "hole in the wall" building that serves INCREDIBLE food.
Well, I found it average at best when one compares the price. For the same money I could have had a dining experience and a waiter at a much better place.
Fried food in a togo basket.
Well, mystery solved. I can at least say I tried it. It was good... just not sure if I'll ever be back.
Citysearch Editorial Review. Seafood is the main catch at this small but cozy Winter Park fish house. Rollins College students and those that are passionate for oceanic delicacies like salmon, Mahi-Mahi, black grouper and yellow snapper feel right at home. The walkway features a wooden dinghy boat hanging from above and the outdoor patio has wooden tiki-looking gods holding up a counter constructed out of old beer cans. The nautical journey continues inside with a spar, red oars, buoys and glass balls with rope suspended from the ceiling and wooden fish, a ship steering wheel and a framed Marlin adorning light blue walls. Diners sit in wooden booths lit by lamps with old postcard print shades and are entertained by a black-and-white TV playing sea-themed movies from yesteryear.
