"Dr House" saves our Dog. It was a last minute thing as we walked into underhill near the closing time. Something was definitely going wrong with our precious Shepherd, King. His stomach had become solid as a rock, and he could not go to the bath room and had lost interest in food. We were a little nervous when we met the vet Barnett who was a touch short and very scientific with his explanantion why he needed to x-ray our dog and possibly do a surgery because our dog had bloated? We never heard of that but we agreed that something must be done right away. He and red hair technician girl did that xray, The girl was really nice and smiling as she came back. Apparently they had been able to turn King in such a way that he unbloated and his stomach began to immediately reduce. We thought of him kinda like Dr. House on TV. He knew what he was doing, but just wasn't into small talk. Good thing too. Any longer King would have had to have a surgery and then who knows. The tech asked about King's Food and suggested a better food with low risk of causing this. Not to forget at any moment that the Dr. and the tech stayed over two hours after closing until they where sure King was ok. Thank God we still have our King. Thank God they worked fast it saved him
AKA Underhill Animal Hospital.
Dr. Wolfendon is a great vet at Underhill Animal Hospital
I saw a poor review for my vet and just wanted to let people know that some call it Lake Underhill but really its just Underhill Animal Hospital, but I can't let them have a bad name
I brought my new puppy Sonja for her checkup and at first the puppy was nervous, however Dr Wolf sat on the floor with my puppy petting her and playing with her to make her learn the vet was a nice person. Dr. Wolf did her exam and gave me a puppy kit for her that had wonderful samples in it. Now Sonja gets so excited to come to Underhill either for her visits or their great "Spa package" that they offer which is a nice bath and massage ( its easier for them to bathe her than for my tub to get messy) she always comes home smelling so clean. I love Underhill Animal Hospital
Absolutely NO.. I took my ferret to this place - bad, bad idea, insane waste of money. The only thing I'd ever get done here is routine vaccinations for dogs & cats. I brought my poor little ferret in, and after 5 minutes of googling his symptoms at home I thought he had adrenal disease - he had CLASSIC symptoms. This vet (Barnett, I'm fairly certain) was just like "oh, well, he doesn't seem muscle wasted, here's some appetite stimulant." I didn't even bother correcting him and immediately found out if my dad's old vet took ferrets, because he didn't even mention adrenal disease. My old/new vet took one look at him and started him on treatment for adrenal disease, which turned out to be correct. If I'd kept going here, I would have spent 300+ on bloodwork for my ferret, when any remotely ferret knowledgeable doctor would have recognized his illness fairly quickly. I do not take kindly to vets who pretend they know what they are doing at the cost of the animals' safety and wellbeing. Don't give this guy your money.
