Urbanites craving authentic Mexican and Puerto Rican fare flock to this charming restaurant near Downtown Orlando. The eatery, which is named after a Puerto Rican tree frog, serves inexpensive and filling meals for less than 10 bucks. Specialties include guarache, tinga-style chicken or veggie quesadillas, chilaquiles, alcapurria and mofongo. The decor, true to its name, features colorful, “Simpsonish” frog artwork adorning the walls. The tiny quarters includes a cozy counter and black tables and high-back chairs. Leave room for dessert after refueling during lunch or dinner. The Mexican chocolate cupcakes give a whole new meaning to sugar and spice.
