Orlando >Relax Grill & Lake Eola
Happy hour a big disappointment. They are advertising Friday happy hour on their website and menu as: "$10 all you can drink beer and wine, and all you can eat Mediterranean buffet" from 6-8 p.m. First of all the food didn't even come out until 6:15, and the buffet turned out to be pita wedges, hummus and tzaziki sauce. That was NOT our idea of a buffet. The dictionary defines buffet as a meal set out on a table. I don't know anyone who would consider hummus and pitas to be a buffet especially when the plates are the size of the palm of your hand. We felt disappointed but we had already paid the $10. We ordered additional appetizers to round out the meal and it took them a half hour to bring us baskets of fried mushrooms and green beans, which were cold. We waited another half hour but the waitress never came back with the bill so we had to stand in line at the bar to pay our tab. The beer and wine were a good value and we felt we got our money's worth there, but the owners REALLY aren't doing themselves any favors by raising customers' expectations of a buffet when they only are setting out hummus and pita chips. They need to update their advertising and stop claiming they are offering a buffet.
The worst place to go... The staff there are druggies. Andrew in the kitchen sells drugs to other employees and some customers. He sells roxies and pot and uses too. Andrew cheats on his wife whom just had a baby a few months ago and brags about doing prison time to appear to be some awesome badass. Andrew also brags about recieving state funds and works under the table so he gets some self accomplishment from screwing the government for making him do prison time. There is a guy named craig there who's girlfriend has been sexually harrassed by Andrew while he claims to have a fat ass wife at home that doesnt put out. Wow what a nice guy, his mom and wife must be very proud!!! I am.. Mike T. has had several sexual harrassment claims from customers and staff/ waitresses. Mike T. too uses roxies and will buy from anyone willing to sell to him. The owners have been told these complaints several times and still have never rectified the situation. Carley is the only employee no one has ever complained about. The place pays most employees under the table for illegal claims reasons, without even making them file 1099. What are Mike and Ivy doing with employess such as these. They have read so many complaints about their business that we can all interpret that they just conciously act blind and stupid and do not give a damn or we can assume that they really dont know. Lets think.. Hmmmm well after this annonymous tip that is now world wide, maybe they can claim to know and now hopefully undercovers start staking the place, IRS will do an audit, and ATB will investigate. There are no excuses now. All the world can think now is what kind of place is this? They just were recently shut down by the board of health and board of hotels and restaraunts for violating several (which is an understatement) 200 plus osha, and health violations literally. Ivy covered the closed for business sign from Board of Health with a hand made sign that said "Spring Cleaning" How creative are they? Ivy and husband are possibly selling drugs to employees. Is this true? Many witnesses can verify... What a great place to go!!! Make sure you ask for Carley for great service without drugs, dishonesty and roaches on the side.
Sometimes Owners Shouldn't Be Managers.....
Twice I have had a unbelievably horrible experience at this establishment: the first time with my husband and father-in-law a year or so ago and the second when I went there with a coworker last week. I don't give third chances. Both issues had to do with food, service, and management. The "manager" (the blond with glasses) has apparently never run a business before and does not understand that when your food comes out late (the order was not put in by our waitress until we decided to check on it 30 minutes later) and wrong (***three*** tries still didn't get our order right) the meal should be comped. She actually had the audacity to say that there was nothing wrong with the food and that if we wanted her to "try again" that she would charge us for two full meals because "nobody gets anything for free." WTF? Seriously? Wow. Sometimes Owners Shouldn't Be Managers....
As for their past violations, it seems they have learned next to nothing. Below is the most recent City of Orlando’s Inspection report findings:

WORST PLACE IN FLORIDA TO EAT!.
Okay, so I won't even get into the horrible experience I had earlier this year at this poor establishment. I would rather die of starvation and dehydration then to step foot in this place OR near its management...
That being said I will allow the CITY of Orlando speak for me... Do you like bugs in your food? How about guys wiping their sweat off and then touching your food before it's delivered? YUMMY Enjoy this wonderful report supplied by the City Of Orlando! :)
