Orlando Hilton Is Big Splash. My wife and I attended a religious convention at the Orlando Hilton and found the new hotel a great vacation and business spot. Great rooms with those terrific cloud-like beds and big bathrooms with "fast" water..

The Hilton facilities are top notch and little details like hot/cold hair blowers and the latest coffee makers show some research went into room design and accessories.

You might find it difficult to get your kids to go to the Disney parks when they see the huge recreation facilities (open 7am to 11pm) with a 900 foot lazy river. My wife and I are in our sixties and we visited the huge complex at 8 am and had the entire water park to ourselves. All the water is heated. There is poolside bar and food service.

The Orland Hilton is a massive convention center in itself although it is located adjacent to Orlando's Convention Center. Two hundred yards away is the International Drive trolley, MacDonalds, Denny's, and other facilities.

We liked the sports pub more than the expensive steakhouse. For lunch and room supplies there is a nice Marketplace, but seating is limited. However, the restaurant on the ground floor by the spa and water park serves breakfast.

Despite 1800 rooms the hotel's staff is very efficient and friendly. Since there are slow and busy seasons for meetings and conventions, you can probably find some good room deals at this hotel.
