bad food. I am not fussy when it comes to food, and I eat pretty much everything. I left more than half the food on my plate because my Mahi Mahi tasted so bad. My gf loves shrimp more than she loves me, she left half her shrimp on her plate. Her salmon was raw, her shrimp was extremely salty/overseasoned, and the seafood cocktail appetizer was drenched in some kind of vinegrette. Even my mashed potatoes were seasoned too strong. To top it off, I paid more here than at top of the line New York City restaurants. The only good thing about Moon Fish was the service. We even read the review before we made the reservation, saw that the food was below average, but chanced it anyway. Don't make the same mistake we did.

I would recommend bar only.. The decor and ambiance were incredible but what began as awe turned into "awww" as the night progressed. What was given as a 15 minute wait for a table turned into 45 and after we were seated, we were told we were at the 'wrong' table and had to move. For a Monday night, it was amazingly crowded and extremely loud. Good for a large group, not intimate dining. We sat for an additional 10 minutes before our waiter greeted us and gave us water. On the upswing, our food was delivered to our table at appropriate intervals and the wait staff was generally courteous, just obviously overworked. What was requested as medium-well turned out to be medium rare on both our steaks and our pork (which was a surprise) but overall, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone with other dining options.

best seafood in orlando. I visited Orlando in July and my timeshare recommended this seafood restaurant if I wanted a place not so touristy. The other restaurant recommended was in Downtown Disney. We found the service to be outstanding, actually we had 3 servers waiting on us. Not too stuffy! You will be seated wearing shorts. Food was excellent. We had salmon, seabass and steak. We were not given a sales pitch to order additional items. Pricey menu however it is not ala carte.

Moon Fish is fishy. This one is for the tourists - nice atmosphere, bad service and worse food. I had to send my "fishy" tasting seafood back, only after the server argued how fresh it was supposed to be. No manager came to the table, no one apologized. This is the kind of place that wants you to splurge by spending a lot, but do not back it up with quality food or quality service.

Could be great!. This is a place that could rate with the best of them. The servers need to be taught how to wait on tables and then follw up with service! Food was very good, but after being in the resturant business for over 26 years the servers need help
