If the name "Ethos Vegan Kitchen" conjures images of kids in hippy clothes serving up tasteless sprouts on dry bread, think again! I've eaten at Ethos twice in the last month, and I can attest to the fact that the food they serve is creative, filling and full of flavor. I've had their take on a Philly Cheesesteak and their black bean burger (both vegetarian) and they were excellent. I brought my wife and kids, and they all enjoyed the food just as much as I did. Whether you're vegetarian or the meat and potatoes type, you really should give this place a try. Ethos really is different from the typical vegetarian/vegan faire. Here's the proof: When I mentioned Ethos one of my co-workers, a motorcycle driving carnivore who wouldn't be caught dead in the typical hippy veggie joint, he responded with, "Ethos? I love that place! Did you try the black bean burger??" To which another one of my co-workers (another definite carnivore) replied, "Ethos is my favorite new place in town. My whole family loves it." I knew then that Ethos was really on to something. When you're done with lunch, try one of their desserts...cookies...cakes...you won't be disappointed. The atmosphere is modern and they have interesting art hanging on the walls. One other thing that distinguishes Ethos from other vegetarian restaurants - the price. I've been to lots of vegetarian restaurants that are simply overpriced. Ethos's prices are the same as you'd pay if you went to lunch anywhere else in the area. Hope you enjoy Ethos as much as I did and that you'll support a local restaurant that's doing something different!
