WAY OVERRATED!!. Food is Good but NOT Great! This place is Highly Overrated. The atmosphere is Very Bad. It is exactly like eating in a Office Building Conference Room!. The fluorescent lights are out of control, WAY TOO BRIGHT! There is NO ambiance. The server was very bad about refilling our drinks and they were not busy. They were out of a lot of there menu items and it was only 7pm. Also if you want to have a beer with dinner forget it. This is a NO ALCOHOL restaurant. LAME!!! Whats comfort food without Booze!! Beer is the most comforting part about eating. Also try mopping the floors with soap and water instead of CHICKEN FAT!!! The tile in the entire place is slimy and covered in grease! The worst part was that they DOUBLE charged us $160 for a $80 meal and had to wait for 30 min to get the bill fixed. This place SUCKS!! and its in a CRAPPY part of town. GO ELSEWHERE.

Orlando`s best Restaurant. The best place for food and especially soul food I have ever been. I will recommend you to my friends and colleges.

You need to try them.. The food is really good and the portions are huge. The portions are big enough for two people. Every meal also comes with corn bread which is very moist. So far I had the smothered pork chops, meat loaf, collards, black eyed peas, sweet potatoes, macaroni & cheese, mashed potatoes, and the potato salad.

The meat loaf was too dry, the macaroni & cheese tasted like velveta cheese, and the potato salad is too sweet and I love sweets. However, every thing else was excellent.

I had carry out once and sat down and ate at the restaurant. The restaurant was very well staffed but, inefficient and slow. I don't know if this is typical for them since restaurants do have their bad days. I recommend trying them if you are not in a hurry. Other then the lack of service this restaurant is great and has great food with cheap prices.

Very well done!. I'm not going to take stars off of the rating for it but they were out of quite a few of the menu items. It was late and the place was packed so I'll cut them a break.

The portions are huge, the prices are low, and all the food we had was just really good. After dinner, I got some Lip Smacking Pot Roast for take-out (for lunch the next day). Oh, man it was good and I ended up having enough for 2 meals (and I'm a big eater).

Just please, find a way to turn the lights down in that place. Seriously, it is really really bright.

Food for the Soul. Generous portions, lots of flavor, better-than-good selections, all freshly prepared. Something for everyone. Next time we plan to bring a couple of friends so we can do a sampling. Priced fairly.
