What People Are Saying About Maggiano's Little Italy

In Short – Fresh white linen tablecloths set the mood for classic southern Italian dining here. Start off with favorites like the delightfully crispy mozzarella marinara sticks or calamari fritte. Entrees can be ordered off the regular or family style menu. Keep the lobster ravioli to yourself and pass the chicken marsala to your antsy cousin. Leave a bittersweet taste in your mouth with a nice hunk of tiramisu or after dinner coffee.
Not Very Good
by foodcritique0111
We walked in and were greeted quickly. We asked for a booth and they automatically assumed we wouldn't mind be seated in the bar area. My husband and I were looking for a little quieter atmosphere. Our waitress was very pleasant. My food was for lack of a better term "nasty." I've eaten much better food at Carraba's or Olive Garden. Maggiano's was also overpriced for the product. I suggest spend the extra five dollars a meal and go to Tommy Bahamas or better yet go have a cheap good quesadilla at Adobe Gilas. I suggest the Pork.
- Pros: Is located in Pointe Orlando which is very nice and has lots of better restaurants that you can go to.
- Cons: The food is horrible.
The very best italian restaurant
by DMPIERRE
My first time here and what an experience. I expected the prices to be very expensive, because the resturant from the outside looked high class. Even the wait for dinner was only but 2-3 minutes. Our waiter was Robert, he took care of us and helped us decided what to order, and the prices were very reasonable. I ordered half an order and that still was too much for me. The atmosphere was very settling and just perfect. So no compliants from me. Will diffently go there again and bring my family this time since i was here for a seminar.
Best Italian chain

Excellent food and a beautiful restaurant. Have been to many Maggiano's in other cities and always had a great experience. The dishes are large but you can request a half order - I never do though. It is great to have leftovers.
The fix price menu (served family style) is outstanding but it is a LOT of food.
The only problem is that the entrees are so good it is next to impossible to save room for dessert, which are also fantastic.
All around, the best chain restaurant I can think of. (And I tend to avoid all chain restaurants).
- Pros: Food, ambiance
- Cons: A little pricey, although completely worth it.

The Extras:
Shy uptown girls and guys beware, the Downtown martini, made of Maker's Mark and Martini and Rossi Vermouth isn't for the faint at heart.
